I had the breaded fish, ff, lazy pierogi & coleslaw. I would pass on the fries next they were frozen fries I would definitely go with the baked or tater tots. The star of the plate would have to be the lazy pierogi, loaded with mushrooms & butter. The half fish is $18 and full is $22. Our bill came to $52 for 2 whole fish fries & four beers. The dining area could use a little more character but it's clean and the waitresses were attentive.

It's hit or miss as far as the food goes, I usually really like the pierogies here. But, the most recent visit - everything was overcooked and dry. My husband and I split the clam bake for 2 ($25) and I was not impressed. Looked and sounded awesome - lobster tails, mussels, clams, potatoes, and corn on the cob. But it was all bland and overcooked. Ordered my kids a half a quesadilla to split (it was still HUGE). Far from authentic quesadilla - more like a chicken finger sub wrapped in a flour shell instead of bread. The atmosphere is extremely casual and the service and people are all friendly.

From ordering flowers last minute (literally on our wedding day) after an issue with our first batch, checking on us regularly on our wedding day... I cannot put it into words how amazing this woman is. It felt like she was part of the family on our wedding day. When I checked on my nephew's burial plot in May and again in July and August, I found nothing, but a 3 ft high mound of dirt covering over his grave. In the 6 months since my nephew's death, absolutely nothing was done to make the gravesite presentable. It took over a dozen phone calls to Howie Holmes and an additional 3 months, the end of September, until the mound of dirt over my nephew's grave was smoothed over. Nine months time is totally unacceptable to make a gravesite presentable to the family. My nephew's mother had to endure this neglect daily as she lives close by to the cemetery. Howie Holmes did NOT live up to his promise to treat my nephew's remains with the care and respect that he deserved.
