While I don't often write reviews, I want to share my disappointment with the service of the Amsterdam company. In the three years I've lived in my current home, I've consistently dealt with leaks. I had to constantly prompt the Amsterdam company to investigate or repaint the yellow stains by emailing and calling them. They seemed quite nonchalant about it. If there's limited availability of craftsmen, communication could at least be improved, and perhaps they can't handle the volume of rentals.
Now, upon my departure, the situation has become dangerous with a leak through a ceiling lamp. I reported this over two weeks ago, but no one has come or contacted me for an appointment. It was previously determined that the gutter needs replacing, but a sustainable solution is considered too expensive.
Additionally, I'm facing issues with the rental department as I leave the property. I'd like to sell some furnishings, such as the dishwasher and stove, as both the new tenant and I would need to use a rented lift due to the narrow stairwell. I terminated my lease 2.5 weeks ago, so you'd think they would have more information on the follow-up process. Unfortunately, I'm only told to assume I must vacate it empty. They don't know when they'll start viewings from a list of candidates, and I'm not allowed to suggest candidates myself. The unhelpfulness in this situation is far from what I had hoped for.
I genuinely hope for an improvement in service, but it seems this company is primarily focused on easy profit, benefiting from indirect leasing and avoiding responsibility. Landlords' properties are also neglected, making it a bad deal for them too, in my opinion.
This company has made living in my rented home less enjoyable and added extra stress. Therefore, I'm relieved to have nothing more to do with them once I leave the property.
I moved in with a leak and I'm leaving with a leak. I sincerely hope the new tenant receives better service, isn't further neglected, and that the housing market's tightness isn't exploited. read more
