We had a really pleasant experience with this company. I originally contacted them for another…read moreplace but as it wasn't suited they helped me and my friend get another place. They were very helpful along the way, and the contact with Debby (the agent) was great at all times! Once we got our keys they were very professional in helping us with whatever. The high demand, gives also more "flexibility" to rental agents, who are not as interested to you as a client, since if you don't get an apartment, they will find someone else in the next day. I have interacted with many agents, others having professional behaviour and others (the majority) not. I write this review, only because the experience I had with Netherlands Rentals was truly an order of magnitude more professional than all the rest. Without even meeting me in person (something which if you don't do, usually nobody cares), not only they tried their hardest to find a proper place for me, but they were in constant contact either by phone or email, in comparison to other agents which usually leave you waiting (even days) in order to find a client that they will consider ideal. Definitely, have a look at their website when moving to the Netherlands, or even better, get in touch with them and I'm pretty sure that they will do their best to help. Definitely recommended and top quality professionalism, which at least, is what I expect as an expat from an agency. I've noticed that they are also involved in the rental agency business in other cities as well, and I hope that the people working there are as good as the Amsterdam group

I used to think True Value was small! This place is half the size of the smallest True Value I've ever visited in the USA. You can fit about 200 of these stores into a standard Home Depot in the United States. Now that we are in Corona-times, this place is doing well with distributing items you buy online and pickup at the door. In the Netherlands, we haven't been able to shop in non-essential stores since October (now February). They allow us to order online at hardware stores and pick up since it's somewhat essential if your sink or faucet breaks. I am rambling on, but you get the idea. Although the inventory is limited, thankfully they are open and the employees risk their health to work and provide a service for us when needed.
