Amsterdam is probably one of the most difficult cities to find proper accomodation, with houses being booked within hours after their advertisement. The high demand, gives also more "flexibility" to rental agents, who are not as interested to you as a client, since if you don't get an apartment, they will find someone else in the next day. I have interacted with many agents, others having professional behaviour and others (the majority) not.
I write this review, only because the experience I had with Netherlands Rentals was truly an order of magnitude more professional than all the rest. Without even meeting me in person (something which if you don't do, usually nobody cares), not only they tried their hardest to find a proper place for me, but they were in constant contact either by phone or email, in comparison to other agents which usually leave you waiting (even days) in order to find a client that they will consider ideal.
Definitely, have a look at their website when moving to the Netherlands, or even better, get in touch with them and I'm pretty sure that they will do their best to help. Definitely recommended and top quality professionalism, which at least, is what I expect as an expat from an agency. I've noticed that they are also involved in the rental agency business in other cities as well, and I hope that the people working there are as good as the Amsterdam group read more
