So there I was, almost settling for a 'meh' mortgage deal--$400K, 20% down, and a steep 7.45% interest rate. I decided to have a second opinion and Found Moreira Team with so many great reviews, so I decided to contact them. Enter Lucky, my mortgage matchmaker. Within half an hour (no joke!), he rang me back with a deal that had my jaw dropping: $470K approved, just 3.5% down, and a 6.75% interest rate! But wait, there's more: The team had a cherry on top: They referred me to a superb Realtor named Catherine, who gave me a grand tour of Georgia homes. From there, Taylor and Amanda whisked through the paperwork, ensuring everything was ready in two weeks. For a first-time homebuyer, they turned what could've been a daunting drama into a smooth, feel-good experience. I'm so happy I found them! So if you're in the market for a great mortgage team, look no further. This team is the best!

Highly recommend them.

Well in all the turmoil of the financial markets and the confusion surrounding mortgage and refi…read morerules I decided it would be a great idea to refi my house in this mess. I would have been up poo creek without a paddle if it weren't for the team at Family Mortgage of Georgia. www.familyga.com These guys were extremely helpful through the entire month long process. I wasn't even sure I would be able to refi to a 15 year due to the state of the housing market and falling home values but they gave me tons of counseling (for free) back in 2008 and they advised me not to even spend the $400.00 on an appraisal since it wouldn't come back in my favor. Well, a year later I emailed them once again and we ran the numbers together. They said it would be close, but it was worth going to the next step...spending money on an appraisal. Once the appraisal came back it was only a matter of paperwork and patience. The level of communication and professionalism from the team at FMOG was amazing and I will use them again for future refi's or home purchases.

Nevertheless, they immediately made me feel like I was not only taken care of but also cared for. I was also finishing up planning my wedding and had the closing date set for the day before my wedding. Whenever I told people this they were shocked and said that I must be so stressed and frantic, but it was quite the opposite. The Family Mortgage Team was beyond helpful and patient with me. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional both in their emails and their phone calls. Whenever they needed some info from me for my file or for the (dreaded) underwriting process, they always sent a very organized, easy to understand email explaining exactly what they needed. If I ever had a question about the material (which was rare because they always explained everything so well), they were very quick to reply- if not within the same hour, definitely within the day. I honestly can't say enough good things about this company and my experience with everyone involved. Their patience, understanding, and positive attitude made my first house buying experience a very smooth and easy one- something you don't hear about a house buying process very often!

She reached out to my husband after he inquired about a house on Zillow, and we are so thankful she did! We viewed several properties via her website and was able to favorite ones we liked. From there, we just reached out to Tanya to view a few of the properties. She asked ALL of the appropriate questions when we looked at new builds ....questions that my husband and I had no clue to even ask had she not been present. It was evident at that time that she knew what she was talking about. Any time we wanted to view another house, she willingly scheduled a time with us. In addition, she thoroughly explained the home buying process to us and explained terms we did not understand. She was also readily available via phone when we reached out to her! I'm huge on good customer service, and Tanya gives you more than that. She recommended her lender who gave us a better offer than the lenders we reached out to! Tanya helped us find THE perfect home! We closed a few days ago and are thrilled. Our experience as first time homeowners was smooth, and we have our wonderful realtor to thank for that. Seriously, CHOOSE TANYA! You'll love her!
