Amsberry did a great job painting and repairing our exterior windows and door frames. The communication and scheduling were terrific. I was so impressed with the price. Significantly less by a factor of 5 than our initial choice! I would recommend Amsberry's without any reservations. read more

We absolutely love the team at Amsberry Painting. As Snohomish residents, we were already familiar with their great reputation so they were the first painting company that we called. They did not disappoint. From the initial visit by their field consultant, Jeffrey, all the way through to paint day, it has been a pleasure. The crew that arrived each day was on time, courteous, and always clean and orderly. It was fun for my wife and I to get to know Fernando, Moises, Marcelo, Joel, and Norlan. Each one is a great ambassador for your company. Keep up the great work. My wife is a realtor, and I run Hansen Bros. Moving...we will both be singing your praises to our clientele. On-time, competitively priced, incredible service!! Our experience with Amsberry painting was the best we could've possibly hoped for. Beginning to end they were extremely easy to work with and flexible given how difficult I may have perceived to be. From changing my mind left and right for scope, paint colors, and project dates- Jeff, Juan, and Cooper ensured I was comfortable and got exactly what I wanted in our new home. The crew was incredibly fast without sacrificing the quality of the work. I was absolutely blown away how much they achieved in such a short window that I gave them to execute. They also did a great job protecting every surface in my home and were diligent with their prep work. Their attention to detail also was impressive! I mean, Cooper had a special light out checking for blemishes and imperfections... he truly cares about the quality his business delivers. Would recommend them to anyone looking for an interior paint job. I'm sure we will use them again in the future for any other paint needs! Thanks guys for the great job! read more

The team at Amsberry was fantastic - from estimating to cleaning up after the project! And our house looks absolutely amazing!! The crew who painted walked us through everything they were going to do and were always careful of our trees, flowers, hot tub, etc. so that nothing got paint on it. They were also receptive to any questions or instructions we had. We have siding and didn't know that we needed special paint and they walked us through why we needed it and sent us information that we could research for ourselves. Be aware of this if you have vinyl siding - Painting a dark color on siding without vinyl safe paint will warp your siding in the sun!. read more

Beautiful work done on our rambler, thorough, precise Juan, the Project Manager oversaw every detail from beginning to end Francisco and Edgar worked carefully and without rushing. They ironed out details about color and preferences. This is the second time we use their services. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended read more

Zero stars. It was supposed to take four days and it went three weeks. Owner promised me that he would have a project manager as the job went on, but that guy never came and when I called him, he was too far away so these guys that were painting doing it all wrong. They even painted the wrong color on my trim the and after one coat they started to pack up and leave and I said what's going on and they said we're done and I said no you're not you're supposed to put two coats on. I have owned and had painted three other houses and this was the worst paint job I have ever seen in my life. My neighbors were appalled at the work. This was a $7000 job back in 2019. The owner didn't come and check on them. The project manager never came and checked on them. He finally sent out a guy who hand painted the entire house and who also was appalled at how this owner of this paint company was behaving. I told them I wanted a discount for not only the time I had to put in it, but because he broke his verbal agreement about having a project manager check often on the paint job. That is the only reason I hired this company, but he lied to me about that. I will never recommend this company. After the second guy came in handpainted the house. I approved it and he called the owner and the owner came out immediately, which he hadn't done before., Why because he wanted his money right now. I said I wanted money off and he said no and he's very tall and over me and threatened me and threatened to sue me and that I would have a letter from his lawyer the next morning. I said go ahead. I have pictures of everything. I've documented everything and I will sue you for not keeping your word and for three weeks of my time trying to deal with this company. They absolutely suck. A friend of mine who lives in Monroe where this company is told me that people in her neighborhood had hired them and their paint jobs were completely a mess. So do not hire this company. This owner is not a fair person and he is threatening and angry when you. Confront him. Never never ever use this company. When he came out that last time, I also tried to show him that they dripped paint all over my stamped concrete patio and he yelled at me no no no you can't start adding things on and I'm like what, your people did this and you need to correct it and he said no way it's too late. I hadn't even paid him yet.! Horrible company, horrible owner, workers just it on said they were done and it looked horrible. I have pictures of all the places they patched and it is the worst job I've ever seen. I can't see enough do not . I am still under my 10 year warranty and the patchwork is not looking good anymore so I'll be calling him soon to get his ass out here and fix it. I spent so many hours so much time trying to get this corrected that I feel he owes me money for my time this company. read more

Summer 2024, after delaying exterior house repairs and painting due to the pandemic, I searched lists of possible contractors in Snohomish County and north King County. Amsberry's Painting was among those highly rated by most past customers. There were some companies I had used before which back then had good recommendations. Prices were competitive for my delayed projects: house siding repairs; new gutters; exterior painting. In addition, replacement of a cedar fence with stain coating. Scheduling at minimum three contractors, during a summer which included unusually high temps and occasional storms, plus high demand in the market from others whose repairs and mtce. had been delayed by the pandemic, it became apparent to me coordination would be challenging! Plus getting approvals from the city and our homeowner association. Both were challenged by staff shortage and high demand. Amsberry's recommended companies for the new gutter replacement and the house siding repairs. The work was well done! Amsberry's Painting handled the scheduling, relieving me of that challenge. Recently, two panels of the new fence were damaged. I asked Amsberry's Painting if they could take on a small job. If not, then to recommend someone for the work. Amsberry's examined the damage and yesterday completed the work. Neighbors who had a front seat view of the damage stopped by today to compliment the work. Same neighbors who last year complimented the exterior painting which required careful trim work and the new fence. Again, competitive prices and high-quality work that needed considerable coordination, supports the "all-stars rating" for Amsberry's Painting! read more

The team from Amsberry Painting were exceptional. They were prompt, professional and good communicators. They did a beautiful job painting our home. They were a reasonably priced and value driven. We would highly recommend them. read more

Chose Amsberry Painting to paint the entire interior of the new to us home that we are moving into. Not only were they able to fit our job into a busy summer schedule, the team put in extra hours as the home is empty and got the entire job finished in record time so we could meet our timeline on some other jobs before our move-in date. Marvin, Gabriel, and Albert were courteous, kind and happy for us to stop by any time to see the progress of the job. Juan was an excellent project manager and kept us updated as the project progressed. They also were very careful with our newly refinished wood flooring. We are so happy with the wonderful job they did. We would definitely work with Amsberry Painting in the future. Five out of five stars!! Unfortunately, my photos don't do the beautiful work justice. Also, the wall above the chair rail in the dining room previously had wallpaper on it and they did an excellent job removing it, prepping, priming and painting it. It's beautiful! read more

I reached out to Amsberry Painting for an estimate for power-washing the house and painting the exterior trim (the house has vinyl siding, so that did not need to be painted). Brett came to the house. He was very pleasant and understood my request. I received the estimate. I had some clarifying questions particularly about washing the windows. He responded that the entire house would be power-washed. After signing the contract I was contacted about scheduling and told that it would be a few weeks out. I needed to get some tree work done, so that was not a problem. They called me to say that they had finished a job early and could they come tomorrow to power-wash, then paint two days later. It was rather sudden and I could have postponed, but wanted to get the work done while the weather was good, so agreed. I asked if I should remove the window screens and was told that it would be a good idea because they can be fragile. When the power-washing crew arrived I asked about the screens and they said they could wash them while they were off, but they did not ask about it later in the day and they were gone without doing that. Also, the windows were not particularly clean - I suppose if you want clean windows you need to hire someone who specializes in that task. The painters arrived at 8:00am two days later. It was a 3-4 man team and they got right to work and had the full job done by 4:00pm. We noticed a few issues, so contacted the project manager for a walk-through. This is a great service, so don't skip it. He came the next morning and sought to rectify the issues we had noticed himself. He was very pleasant. We have noticed a few other places of drips or brush marks, but most of those can be removed using rubbing alcohol. Overall, I think they did a good job and were fast. A good choice if time is a consideration. read more

The 4 day exterior paint job lasted almost a month. Communication is a huge problem with this company overall. I don't speak Spanish and the crew that arrived on day one didn't speak English. So no ability to communicate about daily progress. Although a PM was supposed to be available for the entire project, well... Two screen doors were damaged, back deck splattered with something, and our concrete driveway was gouged in two places. And overall just sloppy work. I took pics of before, during and after. I do not recommend this company. read more

Amsberry completed our outside home painting project last week and we could not be more happy. Ethan, the project manager was great. Marvin, Gabriel and their crew were the nicest, most polite and hard working people we have seen in a long time. Amsberry wasn't the cheapest or most expensive, but right in the middle. Marvin especially was great- anytime we had a question he would promptly stop, listen and take care of the concern. He was especially meticulous and picky, someone we want to see in their profession. We would definitely recommend them. Terry and Julie Matsumura, Lake Stevens. read more

Aurelio did a masterful job on our bathroom project, best paint job we've ever had!! The whole process was very easy.

Again, another terrific job performed by Amsberry's professional workers! This is the 3rd major project (2 exteriors prior) we've scheduled with Amsberry and they didn't disappoint. The value is in the paint used, prepping and cleaning up, precision work , and the efficiency of the team. They were on time everyday and we communicated just fine! Surprised, Disappointed and Concerned I contracted with Amsberry's Painting to paint my house. There were three things in my contract that Amsberry's Painting did not do: 1. Re-Caulk around all windows, doors, siding joints, and construction joints 2. Remove downspouts in order to paint behind; re-install after painting is complete. 3. Second coat to be applied by spray after first coat has had a FULL 4 hours to dry What they actually did: Surprise #1: They only re-caulked around parts of windows, doors, and siding joints that showed cracks in the old caulk. Surprise #2: They removed one of six downspouts. They do not remove nailed on downspouts, only screwed on downspouts. My downspouts are nailed on. Disappointed: I specifically requested a full 4 hour of dry time per the manufacturer's instructions on the paint I chose for my job. While this was in my contract and agreed to by Amsberry's Painting, they did not adhere to it. Will my paint job last? Will they honor a warranty if they did not honor my first contract? Concerned: The painters dumped paint water in my yard (see photo). We will not let our children play there until we figure out what to do about it. read more

Amsberry Painting - Paint water dumped in my yard. - Painters Near Me - Monroe, Washington

Had a great experience with this company. They were super thorough from pressure washing to prepping to painting my house. The paint crew did a walk through before they packed up, and then the company followed up with another walk through before sending over my invoice. My yard was left a little bit messy, and it was easier for me to clean it up myself, but I have no doubt that someone would have come out to do it had I asked. Still, Amsberry's was so much better than other companies I have hired, and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. read more

I am very pleased with the work done and the service. The project manager checked in several times and the workers were pleasant people. On a neighbor's recommendation, we hired Amsberry's to paint several rooms in our house. Trevor came in to assess the work that we needed. He was courteous and knowledgeable, pointing out some problem areas that the team had to pay special attention to. Pricing was reasonable, lower than some other estimates we got. We were quite pleased with the results. Paint was applied beautifully, wall plates were carefully removed and reinstalled after they finished, and they left things looking tidy. The crew did a superb job touching up the problem areas Trevor pointed out, surpassing our expectations. When we next need painting done, we will look to Amsberry's first. We know we can trust them to do a professional, clean, and thorough job. read more

I used Amsberry's to paint my whole house seven years ago and it still looks great. I just had them come back to repaint the trim. They do a good job in preparation for the paint job and communicate well during the process. Quality paint is used and they tape things off well and do a good job cleaning up both during the project and at the end. I believe they are worth the price I paid. read more

Everyone who worked with us at Amsberry's Painting was personable, professional, and very skilled at their work. They prepared us for what to expect during the week it took to paint the interior of our home. The painters were respectful of our things, and went the extra mile to help us with moving a few items that were too heavy for us to move ourselves. Our project involved the removal of 30-year old wallpaper in several areas, and they made the task look easy (it was NOT easy - I had tried it myself and failed). Emilio and Aurelio, along with their lead Jeff, brought a positive attitude to the job each day. The house looks great! We are 100% satisfied with the job, and we feel we got good value at a fair price. We highly recommend their services. read more

Definitely know as the BEST painting company in Snohomish county even by other contractors. Shannon and his team were well organized and detail oriented. One negative is that they aren't the cheapest but definitely worth it. read more

The paint job they did for me was great, but the customer service with the home office and, in particular the Project Manager Shannon, was awful! The crew arrived two hours late with no phone call or advance notice that they were going to be late. They covered every single door of my home with plastic, without telling me, and I wasn't sure if I could get out. The PM, Shannon, lied and said that he saw my dog on the lawn when in fact she was inside my home - blocked by plastic. It took at least five phone calls and multiple emails with the home office to discuss these issues and, as of this date, I am not satisfied with the outcome. read more

Santiago and his crew did an excellent job for us. Showed up on time, acted professionally, and did a thorough job. I will absolutely use Amsberry's Painting in the future, and give them my highest recommendation. read more

I have never written a review but feel strongly this warrants one. I accepted a bid from Amsberry Painting to paint part of the exterior on my home that has faded from the sun and a small interior bathroom. Painting day, the painters showed up with no paint to do the job and confused as to what they were actually doing. The owner, Jeff, asked me meet him at he paint store that is a 25-minute drive from my home, one-way, to pick up paint. Then told to me that the brown trim color was not included in the bid. Which was my sole purpose of having them bid the job and was clearly expressed to Trevor the estimator. Long story short, they left my home a mess. Did not complete any part of the job. My home has patches of primer on it, areas where the pressure washer took off paint. Removed part of my gutter, a piece of my house trim. Littered my property with a sign advertising their business. What professional painting company shows up with no paint to complete the job? Then ask the homeowner to go get paint for them! A very disappointed client. read more

Today I found the Amsberry Paint crew painting exterior trim on the front of my house that is exposed to the weather, WHILE IT WAS RAINING, with the owner ONSITE directing them. This occurred after I explicitly texted owner hours earlier warning of coming rain and indicating that they needed to stop painting. While some of the work crew are capable and conscientious, project management and time management is horrible. My project has already run twice as long as it was suposed to, and it's still not done. Company is understaffed, won't work weekends to make up time lost to weather, and is not capable of meeting their commitments. Unless you want to babysit the job constantly and fight to get them to do the job right, I strongly suggest you look for a better company. read more

We had a very positive experience w/ Amsberry's Painting from the initial meeting to receive a bid to our final walk through after the exterior paint job was completed.
