Avoid This Contractor…read more I had a very poor experience with Vincent, who operates under multiple business names including Deck Repair and Fence General Contracting, Decks by Vincent, and Edwards Construction. A small front porch rebuild took nearly 3 months to complete. There were multiple no-call/no-show days, long gaps with no work being done, and very poor communication throughout the project. Costs also appeared significantly inflated for both labor and materials compared to what would normally be expected for a project this size. Another major issue is that the contractor never registered the project with the city, repeatedly claiming there were "issues with the process," which raises concerns about whether he even had insurance After experiencing these problems, I found numerous negative reviews online and a very poor BBB rating, along with complaints across HomeAdvisor and Yelp. Overall: unreliable, overpriced, and unprofessional. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Review update: If you look at all the reviews Vincent has replied to over all of the sites he's on, he attacks the client as being difficult rather than taking any responsibility for the final product or taking ownership of his actions on a project. He doesn't offer to make things right (when he does it's not sincere) or take much pride in his work (which he doesn't do himself) because he's already moved onto the next client. You are not valued as a client by this contractor. I would not hire again or recommend him to anyone.

Do not use this company! I made the horrible mistake of…read morehiring Incredible Builders to do an update on my home. If you want something done right the first time, DO NOT USE IBI! They designed a kitchen remodel from a blank slate (completely gutted) that could not fit a standard sized refrigerator. They didn't realize this until the kitchen was done. Brand new cabinets had to be pulled and replaced so that we could have a fridge. They installed tile in three areas (kitchen backsplash, sunroom floor, powder room floor). All three areas had to be fixed or redone. The backsplash had to be completely ripped out and redone because the spacing was off and the grout was uneven (completely missing in areas). The installer blamed the tile, but after they brought their "best" installer, there were no issues. The 225 sq ft sunroom had tiles that needed to be replaced due to uneven spacing and the grout had to be stained because it was applied incorrectly making it the wrong color. Finally, the powder room had spacing and grout issues which looked like a first time DIYer botched the job. It was "fixed" by the installer, but still looked awful. IBI gave us a partial credit and I had to hire someone else to rip out the entire floor and completely replace it. Additionally, they subcontracted almost all of the work that was done anyway (what they did themselves was unprofessional and poor quality as well - kitchen design and cabinetry). Save yourself a major headache and hire someone who can get the job done right the first time. Response to the owner: Not everything was resolved. This was just one example of the nightmare of an experience we had with your company (see additional reviews on Google and Facebook). Plus, we had to hire and pay someone else to fix your work.

Edit: to be clear, I am stating this as to why I believe the "Karen T." who contacted me through Yelp (who has no reviews but has posted oodles of photos to this business) is not a random stranger, and is, in fact, associated with the business. This means business employees contacting me after I asked they not. I'm not going to be snarky and point out that all the conversations between Jan and I were posted via screenshot, by me. Including Karen's unredacted email. I posted about my experience and added the facts so others may judge for themselves. I included unedited screen shots, Jan commented with edited copy/paste data. Use that to determine what you will. End edit. I am being contacted, again, after I requested they leave me alone. To Jan, Karen, and Custom Built Fence - I request that any further communication be through your lawyer (as stated in the letter). I refuse to allow you to intimidate me, and maybe you'd have been able to offer a reasonable fence repair estimate (under $23k) if you weren't wasting $7 to send me a certified letter threatening to sue me.
