I really appreciated her helping me choose my perfect wedding dress. After trying on soooo many different dresses, I finally fell in love with a gorgeous dress found at Love Boat Bridal. The dresses here are also very affordable compared to some of the other places I visited, and included alterations. In the end, I was very happy with my service here and I highly recommended Irene and Love Boat Bridal

From the moment I walked in, she made me feel cared for and never rushed, and you can tell how much heart she and her staff puts into her shop. She's been in the business for quite awhile and knows exactly how to cater your wedding dress to fit your body shape and to bring out the best of it! My wedding dress was absolutely beautiful, and the alterations were done perfectly. I had a glitter layer added to my dress and they did incredible. My wedding was everything and more - I felt like a princess! Everything fit like a dream, and I felt so confident and taken care of throughout the whole process. I called to make an appointment, bought my dress off the rack for a good value, and came back for alterations with 2-3 fittings. Prices are reasonable considering how much wedding dress costs are. This small, family-run shop is a hidden gem, and I'm so grateful I found it. Highly recommend to any bride looking for a personal, genuine, and joyful experience!

I was referred to Simply Suits by a friend because they were running a promotion: buy six suits, get the seventh free. We have a wedding coming up, and I thought it would be a great deal for the groom and groomsmen. I reached out to Charles, and to be fair, he was very pleasant and thorough in explaining everything. I let him know that we're based in Arizona while he operates out of California. He assured me that distance wouldn't be an issue. It took me some time to gather all the measurements from our group, but once I did, Charles got the ball rolling. Communication was excellent--until we received the suits. Unfortunately, this is where everything went downhill--and why I'm leaving a 1-star review. We received the suits on May 27th, 2025. I had been recovering from the flu and wasn't able to try them on right away or coordinate fittings with the others. Once I felt better, I collected payments from everyone and Zelled Charles $180 per suit for six suits, plus shipping, on Friday, May 30th. That same evening, everyone finally had a chance to try on their suits for the first time. Right after sending the payment and trying on the suits, I let Charles know that several of them didn't fit properly. Some pants were far too large and long (for example, someone with a 32/30 size received a 40/34). Most blazers fit well, but a few were uncomfortably tight. Charles suggested getting them altered locally for an additional $20-$30, but we were expecting suits that were ready to wear. Everyone agreed they'd rather return the suits. As soon as I brought up the possibility of a return, Charles went completely silent. I've texted and called him multiple times over several days--with no response. I even reached out via Simply Suits Co's Instagram page (which publicly lists his number), but still haven't heard back. I was expecting great customer service and had high hopes based on all the 5-star reviews. Instead, I feel like I misled my groomsmen into thinking we got a great deal--only for all of us to end up stuck with ill-fitting suits and no support.

Are you kidding me? Five stars from the previous yelpers - are they family members or did they get…read morepaid to write these reviews? Sounds quite fishy to me. I actually came here with my best friend recently. Let me preface by saying that we were desperate to look around for wedding dresses for me since it was getting late that date and we were turned down by a national wedding dress store chain due to not having an appointment - a review for that later. Anyway, I yelped it and was expecting splendid service since there were such good reviews. However unfortunately we were sorely disappointed. I needed to write this review to inform others and let you guys know how I felt coming here. It'll save you the hassle, I promise! OK so what happened was we walked in and the older woman was pretty friendly but for some reason her and the middle aged lady (Sylvia) always got into fighting matches. For example the older lady (probably her mother in law) kept giving me smaller sizes of wedding dresses to try on and said that I was a good size, and even picked out some pretty ones (tube style which is what I liked). However, the other lady, Sylvia, had the audacity to tell me that I was FAT and was so super rude. (Just because I told her I wouldn't fit those small dresses, that I was a size medium - TRUST Me i know what size I am). Anyway, moving on -- that Sylvia lady grabbed the small ones away from me (that the older lady gave) and proceeded to hand me the LARGEST wedding dress in the store. Is she blind? I'm not fat. I'm actually pretty tall and quite medium sized. I am totally fine with my body structure. Anyway, so we head to the so called "dressing room" and I wore that extremely HIDEOUS dress and it slid off of me like slime. It was hilarious. My best friend was so appalled. She then gave me another dress, and the same outcome. I don't know how I was so patient with her? Anyway we proceeded to leave and then they advertised their $99 specials. Disgusting!!!! I don't think I've seen such ugly dresses since reading a history book. If you like 1800 styles, come here I'm forreal! Anyway as we were walking out, Chuck (the guy) stops us and asks me about photography. He then tried to market himself to do photography at my wedding. He asked me my date, I told him the ball park. He then quoted the price of $1888 which includes the book. He also told me how amazing Sylvia was at make up. (I was thinking...oh that lady who was super rude to me???) No thanks. I have seen other places that are better. Thankfully the following week I went to a different wedding place (not too far from here) and had the most amazing experience!!! But I digress. What scam artists! Yuck! I will never come here again, it was such a horrendous experience.

This review is for bridal makeup…read more Sylvia knows her art and made me looked beautiful each time I worked with her, twice as maid of honor and my wedding (all btw 2001-2008) The other two brides (my sister & BFF) were happy with her work, too. Sylvia uses air brush foundation, which lasted all day, considering it was applied early in the morning (occasional touch up is required). The service includes a pre-wedding day facial to prep your skin. Of course, a balanced diet and plenty of beauty sleep are essential leading up to the big day. If you don't the look you want for your wedding day, Sylvia would compose the appropriate look. It's crucial that you communicate to her of any dress changes (typical custom for Chinese weddings) so that she would use the most complimentary palette. The price is reasonable and she can do the hair as well, depending on the size of the bridal party. There was a contracted stylist (same guy) that did my hair for all my visits. For my wedding, since I didn't have a veil, Sylvia brought miniature roses from her garden to adorn my hair. The personal touch meant a lot. Also, I'm 4'10", Sylvia gave me a style with height. :-D I highly recommend Sylvia for bridal makeup and hair style!
