I can't say enough good things about the team at National Seating & Mobility in Richmond,…read moreVA--especially Lori Edwards and Theresa Lathrop from Branch 99. They went above and beyond to help my brother get his much-needed wheelchair, and I'm beyond grateful for their dedication, kindness, and persistence. I first started working with Lori, and from day one, she was a lifesaver. My brother is paralyzed and completely dependent on his wheelchair, but dealing with his insurance company (United Healthcare) was an absolute nightmare--they denied his claims repeatedly, dragging the process out for six months. Through it all, Lori never gave up. She guided me through every step, resubmitted paperwork three times, and helped me fight through the red tape. She kept me updated constantly, often staying well past business hours (sometimes until 6 PM or later!) to check in and make sure nothing fell through the cracks. She even joined in on three-way calls with the insurance company to advocate for us. Simply put: she cared, and it showed. Toward the end of the process, I also had the pleasure of working with Theresa Lathrop, who was just as diligent and dedicated. She helped ensure that, after all the delays, my brother's wheelchair finally got to him. Without both of these incredible women, I honestly don't think we would have gotten through this. Beyond Lori and Theresa, everyone at National Seating & Mobility was polite, professional, and eager to help--which, let me tell you, is not something you find every day when dealing with healthcare-related services. They made a stressful, frustrating process so much easier through their patience, knowledge, and kindness. If you need mobility solutions in Richmond, this is the place to go. They truly care about their clients, and that makes all the difference. Five stars all the way!

When the rep first visited he was affable and Professional.... after that, my claim was…read morenon-affirmed and resubmitted to medicare multiple times before authorization due to administrative errors. They did not answer Emails, calls or texts for weeks. I had to contact Medicare on my own to learn my claim was approved. Tried to call the rep ... he went on vacation, left multiple calls at office, none returned. Avoid this company if you can. You have a right to choose your provider. EDIT: finally a woman from the company returned my call, and informed me my chair would be delivered in another 2 weeks. Iy was a lengthy and aggravating experience.
