We stopped in here looking for drinks to take back to our Airbnb, but unfortunately we couldn't find anything local that we wanted to try. They had a large selection of drinks and snacks though, so if you're looking for something it's likely they may have it. They also had lots of retail items, but we weren't in the market for anything so we didn't shop around much. Overall, I think this is a fine small shop to stop into in the area if you're looking to grab items for your visit and/or trip.

My friend and I bought a wine opener here, tried to use it that evening only to discover that it was defective. With receipt in hand, we tried to return the defective product sold to us the day before but weee told by the clerk the store does not do returns. When we asked for the manager/owner the clerk told us that their answer would be the same. So this market is just out here selling useless product to customers with a ridiculous no return policy regardless of the fact that it is their fault that they are selling defective product. Only 1 Star because I have to, but 100% do not recommend this market.

But what stood out here wasn't the place itself, it was the interaction inside. The gentleman working the counter was genuinely friendly in a way you don't always get at a stop like this. He noticed my New England accent right away and actually paused to ask about it. That turned into a short, easy conversation that made the whole stop feel a little more human than transactional. It wasn't anything big or dramatic, just one of those small exchanges that sticks with you because it breaks the usual rhythm of these quick roadside stops. Store itself was clean, well-stocked for what you'd expect, and easy in and out. Four stars mostly because of that interaction. The place does its job, but that bit of friendliness elevated it more than it probably should have.

DON'T BUY THE CIRCLE K BRAND WATER…read more The service I received was great. The guy working was super friendly and i have no complaints about any of that. I wanted to buy a pack of water (i think they were packs of 12 bottles) and he told me it was 1 pack for $4 or 2 packs for $5. Wow, that's a heck of a deal. Sure, let's do it. As we drive back to our hotel i joked with my wife about the price "haha, that's a crazy deal for water...is it tainted?". LOL. Fast forward to after i'd finished the first bottle of CircleK brand water....ugh...my mouth tastes nasty. Maybe it was the burger i had for lunch. Moving on. Later on before going on a hike i had another bottle of CircleK brand water and shortly after i realized i had the same gross aftertaste. I thought it's gotta be a coincidence. Along the hike i had another bottle and when i got back to the hotel i had another bottle and i noticed that disgusting taste again. After thinking about what else i'd eaten or drank (which was only a salad right after the hike) I'm 100% convinced this CircleK brand water is the culprit. Both myself and my wife have found it to leave a terrible aftertaste...yyechh!!! I hate to waste water but the rest of these are getting dumped....we'll take them home and use them in the garden or something, but definitely not drinking them. Stick to ARROWHEAD water for the freshest taste.
