Quick car wash at Arco and honestly it was a solid deal $6 got the job done, car came out clean and shiny, no complaints. Customer service was smooth, paid inside and got a PIN, super easy. Grabbed a $1 small coffee too so $7 total for a wash and coffee that's a win these days. They've got different wash options but I went with the cheapest and it still handled it. Definitely worth it if you just need something quick and affordable. You can also pay at the kiosk I didn't know that. Very rude lady disrespectful she don't even understand English. She act like she does. I treat everybody like lowlife the last two years. I've been coming here the same way every time I see it is the worst day in my life disrespectful ruthless Customer Service, and everybody else around her acting like her. read more

I fuel my car from this gas station all the time other than things I by from the store all the time. I asked the lady 3 times to open the air for me, each time she says I'll open it now. They do that because they want you to pay to put some air. read more

One star, horrible customer service had to buy something to use the restroom, very rude!

It's super convenient to get gas from here because of its location. When driving from Liberty Station, you can easily just pull of and get gas here. Lanes are wide so maneuvering through isn't too challenging. My biggest issue about this place is the car wash. Because the line is behind the mini mart, you can't see how long it is until you enter. I got back there are there were two cars ahead of me. No big deal, I thought. WRONG. The line takes absolutely forever. It took twenty minutes for me to get in. Not worth it. I will never use this car wash again. read more

If you don't take credit POST IT ON THE FRONT door. Also, I'm pretty sure you're supposed to offer bags (even if for a price). The attendants were more interested in talking #%&$ about other people (in Spanish but I speak it) than attending to their customers. NEVER come here. read more

Just an awful experience at this Arco the other day. Pulled up to a pump, put in my $50 Arco gift card, and the pump wouldn't let me pick anything other than Super Unleaded. I canceled the transaction and pulled forward to the next pump. Tried again, and it said "see cashier." Went inside and explained what happened, and the manager Mary had no idea what was wrong or how to fix it. She started making up lies of why it wasn't working. First, she said that the card is an older card and they no longer work. No, I just bought it at a grocery store, as I've been doing for the year I've been driving for Uber. Her: "Which grocery store?" Me: "Every grocery store in America!" Her: "Yeah, but which grocery store." That didn't matter, and it wasn't getting my card fixed. She then decided to call the number on the back of the card and navigated the voice prompts only to get disconnected, I guess. She then pretty much shrugged her shoulders and didn't know what to do. I asked for the manager, she said she was the manager, and I told her to call her boss who perhaps knows how to fix this particular problem. She disappears into the back, and after a long phone call comes outside and points me to the Arco 1-800 to give feedback about my experience. Uhh, no, I'm not going to call a 9-to-5 customer service line, I just want her to figure out how to get my card to work so I can get gas and go on with my life. Mary is now coming up with other excuses of why the card doesn't work, just pulling things out of her ass. It's now been 20 minutes and she's gotten nowhere. I decide to try my own at calling the # on the back of the card. Within minutes, I'm on the phone with a human rep and explain the situation. She's able to see there's a hold on the entire balance, and with a few keystrokes she's cleared the hold and my card is good to use again. I fill up my car at my longest gas station visit to date, and go back inside to tell Mary I took care of everything. I tried to tell her how easy of a fix it was, but at this point it was all too much for her. Having to deal with a customer had wore her out, and her eyes glazed over when I tried to explain anything or recommend she not just make things up next time. I dunno, I guess it's my bad to expect a gas station manager to be able to fix problems when they occur. I get they're not well paid, but come on, give them a bit of training in EITHER fixing problems OR dealing with customers. It's like this lady had never worked with humans before. Most frustrating half hour I had last week, and it could have been avoided. I guess I know for next time. read more

I simply came here for gas, and the pump screen told me to get my receipt from the cashier (I'm a small business owner, and every dollar counts). A receipt is important, especially if I'm spending $100 on gas. I approached the building to find a security guard just as confused as I am as to WHY they locked the doors? I thought y'all were 24/7? Also, PLEASE post SOMETHING to let people know that receipts are unavailable?! I would have gone somewhere else. Anyway, a couple workers opened the door to tell me they won't be open till 2:15am... read more

Funny what a complete demo and rebuild can do for a little gas station. They usually have the best prices on gas in the area, but it's almost always packed to the gills. There are two entrances off of two streets, and people pull in all willy-nilly, blocking pumps, lanes, parking spaces and each other. It can be a bit hectic, so go in knowing that you may have to either wait for an open pump, or be confident enough maneuvering your vehicle to dodge other cars, pedestrians and shoppers. Getting out can also be a challenge, since both of the entrance/exits empty you onto fairly busy streets. Traffic backs up at the lights, and people don't always know how to squeeze in or around stopped cars. Still, prices are decent it saves us a trip down Sports Area Blvd and/or Midway or Rosecrans. read more

Bottom Line: A small gas station that includes a car wash and a clean and bright convenience store. This Rosecrans gas station and convenience store is always buzzing. They have somewhere in the neighborhood of six to eight pumps, an automated carwash and a bright and shiny convenience store. The convenience store is clean and sizeable. This is where I like to stop to fill my rental car before returning it to the airport. (I exit for Rosecrans from I-5 and then make a u-turn at Lytton. From the gas station, I get back on Rosecrans to go the back way to the airport.) This Arco AM/PM is located on the corner of Lytton St. and the westbound side of Rosecrans. read more

My local, most convenient gas station. So glad it's finally re-opened again after the remodel. Like the high canopies and bright lights. But best of all, they have a drive-through car wash, now too - $6-12, depending on which one you choose. You can pay along w/ your wash, or separately. I tried the $6 basic wash today, and it looked pretty good for $6. read more

What a ridiculous business model. I inserted my corporate credit card into the pump in order to fill my rental car up. I was asked to except a $.35 charge. I accepted it. The pump asked me for a pin number, which does not exist for my corporate card. I went into the store to ask what the fee was and why it wanted a pin. After some discussion with a translator, the "Manager "told me that to use credit I had to pay inside. I said fine and she asked me how much gas I wanted to buy. I explained to her that I would not know how much I wanted to pay until the tank was full. I have never had to explain this to someone who worked in a gas station before. She said that the only option to pay outside was to use an ATM card. I tried again to explain the basics of using a credit card to purchase gasoline, again something I have never needed to do at a gas station. That was the answer: we don't want your money, and fuck you if you want to use a credit card. So fuck them. read more

I enjoy the convenience of this Arco, but wish they would take credit cards. It's not usually packed, but can be a little crazy getting in and out if people aren't considerate. The snacks, drinks, etc are pretty typical and I LOVE that it's well lit especially late at night. read more

My go-to place when my cars need a wash. It does everything include shining the tires. Unfortunately, I recently made the poor decision of getting it washed here about two nights ago. First, the car wash machine didn't have change for a $20 when I selected the $12 wash. Secondly, I sat there in my car at the car washer for a good 5-10 minutes before I realized something wasn't right. It had beckoned me to pull forward and stop the car but it WOULD not start the wash at all. I reversed my car and puled up again a couple times but just the same result. Thirdly, the staff there were totally inexperienced and it was a bit hard communicating to them I spent practically almost hour trying to tell them the machine printed me out a cash receipt (for $8 since it didn't have change for my $20) and that the car wash didn't even operate so I wanted a full refund. The two ladies just stared at me blankly and because they didn't know what to do and at the same time refused to give me my money back without a manager, told me to come back another day. Wow. I told them I wasn't in from the area and I needed it done now. Either my money back or get the wash working. The cashier finally got on the phone and called the manager up and asked for instructions on how to get the wash working. Only, after I got the car washed and returned back for my $8 change, I got more crap from her and after some pushing she called the manager to ask if it was a legit return receipt the machine printed out. What a pain. Oh, and this all went down the drain anyways because it rained the next day. read more

Horrible car wash! The $5.00 wash n go on Rosecrans, with free vacuums, was closed this Sunday at 10:15 am. So I came here, it must take 8+ minutes per car, been here 15 minutes and moved 2 times. You turn off your car after you move, that slow. The $5.00 wash can handle 20 washes in the time it takes for one here. And, you are stuck, once you commit, no way to escape the line. There were maybe 6 cars ahead of me and this will take at least 30+ minutes for a $4.00 drive thru wash on a random Sunday. Obsolete, outdated, slow as hell. Go to the $5.00 wash and go, save yourself the hassle. read more

Worst car wash ever. One car at the time. Just waiting and waiting for a cheap car wash? No thanks

Spare yourself the trouble--don't come here. You'll sit at the light waiting to turn in and get back out for a solid 5 minutes each way. You CANNOT use credit here. If you make the mistake like I did, your transaction will take a solid 3 minute to cancel. The attendants don't answer the button to call them for assistance. All around crap gas station. Not any cheaper than nearby places either with the .35 fee to use a debit card. Seriously...it's 2015. Get with the program. Only small businesses charge processing fees these days. read more

It's weird to be reviewing a gas station but this time I feel it needs to be done. So I usually go to this gas station because my husbands work is right down the street. Usually I have no problems but today was extremely different. I went to pump gas and paid at the pump. The pump suddenly stopped at $7.57 and would not start again. The screen says "print out error. See cashier." I go to see the cashier and explain the situation. She just tells me that it's for a receipt and asks me if I want one to which I decline. So feeling unsure, I go back to the car and start my car but the gas is still reading "17 miles until empty". My car gets about 23 miles to the gallon so basic math would tell me that since $7.57 of gas at $3.99 was about 2 gallons, my dashboard should read at least 60 miles until empty. My bank statement shows $7.57 paid at this location. If I pumped that much gas my meter would move somewhat so by using this logic, the pump didn't give me any gas. I know it's not my gas tank because after I went here I went to a different station and received the correct amount of gas I paid for. After I noticed that this pump didn't give me any gas, I went inside to explain to the cashier that I didn't recieve any thing for what I paid for. She just prints out a receipt and tells me that I pumped. The cashiers both had attitudes with me while I was just trying to explain that the pump didn't give me any gas. I was not trying to scam anyone for free gas. I just simply wanted either my money back or the gas that I had clearly paid for but never recieved. The cashiers would not hear the explaination I provided for them. I will definitely not be going here anymore. Tonight, I recieved the worst customer service I have ever experienced. read more

I went to get gas yesterday. I tried twice and it didn't work. I went in and put on my card $45.00 for gas. It still didn't work. I went back in and she said she would cancel the transaction on my card and I would need to pay again and go to a different pump. I didn't feel comfortable with that. I called my bank and they took out $100.00 twice and then the $45.00 plus .35 per transaction. I was furious and the clerk spoke bad English. It's the next morning and the money is still out of my account. I just spoke with the manager who wants me to give her my card number and check but I'm afraid to do that too. What a scam. read more

Their gas prices are good, but the staff inside was subpar. I went to put $20 in my tank and the girl at the counter was chatting with her coworker and showing her something on her phone and when I went to hand her my card she didn't even look at me when she said "we don't take credit" and then turned back to her coworker. It just seemed dismissive and rude. The only reason I actually bought gas there was because I didn't have enough to get home. read more

Worst car wash! Took 45 min of waiting in line for horrible wash. Not worth your time.

The pump kept catching where the gas wouldn't flow and I hopped in line for the car wash which as another reviewer said, took almost an HOUR to get through! I´m really disappointed with how they have deal with my problem. They did a mistake (which everyone of us can do) but when I told them they did it, the first response was that it had been my fault. After having to pay twice the gas, to resolve their mistake I had to call them several times to try to solve it. I had the feeling that until the moment I raised my voice they were giving me any solution, just excuses. Finally with the security cameras they realized that I was right and after giving my money back the only apology I received was a "sorry about that" They had any sensitivity of my time! read more

The gas station is fine but do NOT attempt to get a car wash here if you have less than 45 minutes. You can't see around the corner of the car wash to see how many cars are lined up.
