I was passing through and noticed that, even though this gas station is way out in the boonies, they had the cheapest gas I've seen in SD county. I was at half tank and decided to just fill up for the heck of it. Premium was $3.87, which is unheard of in my neck of the woods. Small gas station with about 8 pumps. There are arrows indicating a one way entrance, but since it was later in the evening and no one was there, I broke the rules and entered the opposite way. The prepay island was out of service, so had to walk into the store and pay. Service was quick and friendly. A good place to get cheap gas on the go. read more

Been coming here the past few weeks to gas up my truck. Gas prices seem to be considerably cheaper than other gas stations within the vicinity and when I go there late morning before work there's never any lines at the pump. The AM/PM convenience store has a great selection of cold beverages, snacks, nick-nacks and any other vidles one might desire from a roadside convenience store. Three times in the last two weeks, once at 01:30am, midnight and 10:30pm. What happened to 24/7? Last night had to go to another store which was way down on Garden road. They cheated my son and daughter out of free drinks from the app that they had won and they ended paying for it when it should had been FREE. Had my dog at the Animal Emergency Clinic across the street waiting for hours to have a follow up have drainage tube removed. Asked them if I could use their restroom and they sent me to AM/PM across the street! I hate to use gas station restrooms! However this one was very clean. I love this spot. I do a lot of driving and I come here at the beginning of the month to buy gas cards. It really helps me to budget my money so that I know just how much money I'm spending on gas. The people who work here are super chill, always friendly and you will see the same people working here every time. I tend to come here a lot by myself so I can reassure other women that all the guys here are super respectful- AWESOME bc they won't give you that creepy look like the guys @ other places will!! I come here at random hours to miss peak, busy periods. If you come here at 7:30am before work, you might be better off banging your head against the wall - it will be crazy busy so use your head. They have bomb cookies (try the TMGS ones or choc chip YUM YUM) for a great deal. I will stop by here post-workout to buy beer or cookies (true statement). They also strong iced coffee here, that has a respectable caffeine content. The only thing I won't mess with here is the hot food. Ampm food is what you settle for when you are drunk after a concert and an overcooked corndog sounds convenient. Also, on Poway Rd. you are at the epicenter of other food options, so thats just not a sacrifice that I'm willing to make. read more

Cheapest gas prices in SD county. I come here out of convenience, when visiting my dad in the stroke rehab facility nearby. However, one of the attendants (Brian, who works either the graveyard or morning shift) was very rude to a customer. He repeated to the customer to "Speak English" three times. Yes, the customer did not speak English, but it was clear with what he was saying and pointing at (he was pointing at the Scratchers in the glass counter, while saying TWO) what he wanted. Brian did not need to speak the way he spoke. A better way to frame it would have been "Could you repeat that?" or "I am sorry, I don't understand." But, I guess he believes he holds the power or something. And this isn't some isolated incident of rudeness. I have come in, with Brian working there, and he was just surly and nasty to customers. I would give zero stars if I could! A man hit my car and was leaving the scene of the accident. I was trying to get the police here and the employee Brian came out and began yelling at me!! Very rude and unprofessional!! Instead of helping me he yelled at me and said he was calling the police. I had already done that and the police were in their way...I had pulled in front of the car that had hit me because he was going to drive off...I was waiting to see what the officers told me to do and thats when Brian started to yell! Just moved here and made the mistake of getting gas here. As soon as I filled up my car started bogging out and sputtering. I drove it at 20mph all the way my mechanic. He emptied the gas tank and put some fresh gas in. Runs perfect now. Said that's what happens when you put water down gas in your car!! Don't be deceived by their prices they have crap gasoline here! On top of that they only accept debit and charge you 35 cents for a transaction. So if you only need 3 gallons of gas do the math add 12 cents a gallon. No longer a good price. read more
