Stopped in to fuel up while at the shopping center. After the fill up I noticed that pump 10 had run out of receipt paper. I entered the AM/PM market and noticed no one at the cash register. I looked around and noticed the clerk and she made eye contact for a brief second. I asked if I could get the receipt for pump 10 and no words came back my way. The clerk in a very lethargic manner processed the receipt and handed it to me. I said thank you very much and have a wonderful day and not a peep. The customer service was lacking and understanding everyone has a bad day is why I still rated the experience a 3 star adventure. Sadly the station is immaculate and the store looks well maintained as well. Surprisingly some folks in the customer service industry just don't fit as a smile, a hello and have a nice day or a thank you goes a long way. Maybe next time if there is a next time. I review all of my adventures. Just imagine if I was an ARCO executive doing a routine franchise inspection. Lessons learned maybe after they read my review. I share this in kindness hoping for constructive correction. The business manager responded to my review asking that I send this via email which I just did. I review all businesses and locations that I visit and am appreciate that this business reached out asking for additional information etc. Their ratings appear low and this could be a method they utilize to seek improvement. I will update if I hear back from the business manager or an Arco representative. read more

She is very rude, unprofessional and does not have a good attitude. Not sure why she is employed in customer service because that is definitely not her best asset. Very rude customer service. Asked for 4 quarters to use the air machine. Asked "For what!?" In the rudest tone. I said for the air machine, and she pretty much yelled, "No!" "Do you you see by the door?" When I answered no I don't see, she has such attitude, "Yes you do!" Telling me what I should be seeing. There is a small button you press for air. Another guy, not sure if he worked there, confirmed there's a button to push for the air. Not as obvious if you didn't know. Got my air, but that interaction was unnecessary. read more

What a groovy gas station. Seriously. They play the best music (usually top 40 with some hip hop thrown in) over the loudspeakers whilst you're getting gas. Makes a mundane activity be not too bad. AMPM is well stocked for necessities. They also have AMPM Movies. Like a Redbox, and the same pricing structure (I think... $1.10 or $1.20 per film per night). read more

Safest place in Orange County. Hot spot for the Orange County Sheriff Department since they have nothing else to do out here in Ladera! That's a good thing I guess!! Always clean and friendly staff willing to assist. Convenient location and gas is on the reasonable side although my wife claims their gas doesn't last in the car?? This location is perpetually in some degree of disrepair, usually involving the pumps. It seems there is almost always at least one pump down, and often it is several. I can't tell you how many times I've had to drive from pump to pump to find one that works. This morning, every single pump's pay station was down.... and there were no signs, so I wasted 5 minutes driving between three pumps (there were lines). I hate this location. And gas is cheaper at other stations near the mall. read more

This gas station always looks busy, but I can get in and out in 5 minutes. It's an easy location to pull into and I never really have to wait for a pump. The only annoying thing is they only take debit cards and cash, and there is a small fee to use your debit card. Who doesn't take credit cards in 2014? This is just like any other Arco. The store inside is huge and they have pretty good coffee and snacks. Also for some reason they always have a sherrif posted up nearby watching, I think because this place was robbed a few months back. I stopped by to get some snacks and get gas in the afternoon and the line was so long but I had to wait because the pumps outside don't take credit cards. While I waited, I noticed the only cashier there was a lady and she was just taking her time with all the male costumers, flirting with them and she just looked ridiculous! Hi, I would like to file a complaint that involves one of the clerks at ARCO #42668 27402 Antonio Parkway Ladera Ranch, CA 92694 I go in quite often around 11am and have noticed lately that one of the clerks, sorry I don't have her name but she wears glasses and works around 11am. Here's the issue either she can't count or is skimming money off the top. Let me explain...when paying she never gives the correct change and refuses to count it back to the customer. She acts as if she's in a big hurry and just hands you a wadded up bunch of change and yells, next! After having this happen to me multiple times I called her on it. She made me take the difference that she shorted me out of the loose, donated coin cup next to the register...I wanted her to take it from the register, she refused....yelling Next customer!...this irritated me so I stopped going in at that time of day or if there were two clerks I would wait until the other clerk was free. I mentioned it to the other clerk and she knows the girl is doing something. Because of the volume the store deals with if she is keeping the over charges from the day it could really add up when she counts out her drawer. Either this is what's happening or she's just stupid and should not be handling money. This happens every time...it's no coincidence. Even today my total was $18.10 and I gave her 45.10 and wanted the change put on a gas pump (9) when I pumped my gas it stopped at $26.90 she kept the dime. Not wanting to make a scene over a dime that she would have given me back from the donation cup I just muttered under my breath and left. It may seem trivial but clearly there is something going on. How many people actually count the change they get back? People may count the bills but the change goes right in their purse or pocket without even a glance. With her I count it every time and it's short every time. I'll be sending this up the chain because something has to be done. I filed a complaint with AmPm. read more

This is an incredibly poorly run gas station. Their payment machines outside basically do not work. It will literally take 3 - 4 minutes just to authorize your card for payment. The owners do not care. Come to this gas station if you want to add another five minutes to your trip. read more

This station is terrible. I have a car that utilizes diesel fuel and every time I come to this gas station the diesel is either out, or the pump doesn't work, or the terminal to run your card doesn't work. Nobody knows what is going on. The staff always says they don't know why it's broken or that they didn't know it was broken and I asked the manager or owner when they were going to fix it and he kind of looked at me like he was dumbfounded. I have tried to get fuel here more than five times unsuccessfully because of those reasons. If you are going to offer a service to your customers, you should offer the service your customers. Oh and on the way out the owner asked me if I knew how to use the pump. He told me to lift the handle to pump my fuel. Yeah dude I know. I think is one of the most clean gas station ever yes they been having two pumps out of order but is not that they don't care to fix them is that believe it or not there's no parts to fix those pumps.
