The employees are friendly. The restrooms were as shiny and new looking as the rest of the place, and nice and clean. (We were there because our boy needed to go potty.) There are locks on the doors, but the day shift people when we were there just left the keys on the counter, and cheerfully pointed them out when I asked. The fuel prices were pretty high, but we had fueled up at Costco before leaving on our road trip so the prices weren't a problem for us. The grocery prices are on the high side too, but that's just the way things are at convenience stores. Another nice thing about the place is the location. If you're on the freeway and don't want to spend a lot of time for a fuel, snack, or tinkle break, it's really quick to get off the freeway, do your business, and get back on the road.

The place has been robbed and had a few incidents but my sister did NOT go there with a gun, nor did she chain an ATM to a truck to steal it after smashing thru the doors, as happened in the past. Their past victimhood does not justify harassing a customer and saying, "You're no longer welcome here" essentially. Grocery Outlet sells them for $6.99 per 1# box and says on the price card You save 1.63 or something similar. NONSENSE. Every grocery store in town sells them for $5.99 or less and the one grocery store that has a name that starts with "Win", sells them for $4.89. So HOW is Grocery Outlets price 40 to 70% off? It's not. You can do that with 95% of everything in the store. It is a scam. Additionally, many of the items they sell are near the expiration date or are weird brand names you've probably never heard of (pickles from India). Some non-food items do have good prices, but mostly this place is nothing but false advertising. On occasion you can find sale items that are close to the same price as your local grocery store (5% savings maybe), but again, nowhere near 40 to 70% off.

He saved my day and gave me a reason for all this meant but as for the other fella, he's the reason I will not go back there. I just don't see why people can't be nice in life.
