My strategy for finding any new third party is to read the reviews and try and synthesize the truth, speak to a decision maker and assess and finally ask for some quotes for the parts and labor. I spoke to four shops and of course everyone needs to see the job before finally committing and that scope can obviously change. Sam freely and patiently gave me some quotes for both (others couldn't get past - we need to see it), the quotes and the final pricing were both very fair and competitive. Mo communicated freely during the fix and heres the kicker and why we'll trust these guys moving forward. They easily could have turned the minor job into a relatively major fix and they didn't, the problem and solution was less in every sense than what I assumed it would be including their cost - great job the both of you!

The insurance company basically totaled out our vehicle and we went shopping for a new car. Driving around the local area, we've seen this lot and have been here before, but back then didn't see anything we were interested in. This time we drove by and saw some vehicles that got our attention. We were there three different times and kept our eyes on one particular SUV that had everything we wanted. Bob took the SUV for a checkup at a garage where we were able to go in and check the underside, as we always like to check the underside for rust, holes etc. This vehicle was not only clean inside, but also underneath and practically rust-free! Everything about the vehicle was known and listed, with all taxes and any extra charges days before we settled. The vehicle was also detailed and that was a great thing as years ago another car lot promised to detail our minivan that was rear-ended, and gave that van to us VERY filthy. We had NO such problems with Bob. All who work there are knowledgeable and friendly and smiling! Thanks for the time and such a decent vehicle!!

I sent a video highlighting defects and told them the car needed work however, I reflected that in the asking price. I asked for honesty in the offer with all things considered, as I wanted to ensure before making the drive out it wouldn't be a waste of time. I was then told they'd get me close to my asking price. I show up to the dealership (over 30 minute drive from my house) just to find out the gentlemen who I had been in contact with left the dealership for a hair cut. I was then greeted by his "partner". I gave them the keys and waited there an hour before getting any information about what they were doing with my car. The "partner" came back with my keys and a laundry list of things they said the car needed (as I had stated it was far from perfect). He then proceeded to offer me half of my asking price. Waste of time and gas. Beware. Trained weasels.
