She has blossomed into an absolute social butterfly--spreading love and joy everywhere we go. Amber, Sarah, Rosemary and the entire Elite team were supportive and responsive throughout the process. Jayla uploaded adorable weekly training and socialization videos, which we still watch together. My pup arrived fully crate trained and mostly potty trained (I don't expect 100% success at this age). They did warn me that Emmy is a "Velcro dog". Boy, they weren't kidding! Emmy needs constant love and attention but this has been one of her most endearing qualities. I've enrolled her in a puppy prep school where she's thrived--making dozens of new friends and charming all the trainers! Lastly--and this may seem superficial but her striking Tiffany blue-green eyes have persisted at 5+ months. Green eyes are extremely rare--especially among labradoodles. So, this shouldn't be a driver in selecting a dog or breeder but like I said--I might just be the luckiest puppy parent on the planet right now. :)

I grew up with two Golden Retrievers from a breeder in the UK. When I compare my experiences with them to my experiences with Beary, I can say that I have had a much easier time with Beary. Heather sure knows her stuff when it comes to breeding, and she has the best puppy trainers around. Beary already knew many of the basic commands when he arrived and was trained to go to the bathroom in a litter box. Beary is sweet-natured and funny. Playing fetch with him is more entertaining than watching TV. He has no health issues, is very intelligent, and he's always good but perhaps sometimes just a little mischievous! I have not owned a goldendoodle and Charlene answered all of my questions & concerns beforehand. She would send weekly updates and pictures of our puppy from birth. Charlene was very accommodating with visits starting at 4 weeks old. I think this truly helped our puppy transition to her new home since she was already comfortable around us. She also did us a favor and kept her an extra 2 weeks (past her 8 week pick up date) since we had a preexisting vacation planned. Charlene provided all of her vet records, a take home basket filled with toys, goodies and even a new puppy what to expect packet. You can tell she and her family go above and beyond to make this experience positive. Our pup is so sweet, calm, intelligent and potty trained so quickly with the help of Charlene starting her crate training. Overall amazing experience that you won't get elsewhere.

This review is long overdue, in part because I wanted to give it the care and attention it deserved. Greta is not only an exceptional breeder, but an exceptional human being. I came to her during one of the hardest periods of my life, after my dearest companion passed away unexpectedly because of a mistake at the vet. From the very beginning, Greta showed extraordinary empathy, kindness, and patience, without ever making us feel pressured or assuming we would necessarily move forward with her. She took real time to talk with me about what I was going through, handled our situation with so much sensitivity, and offered us the opportunity to experience her cat retreat so we could simply spend time with kittens without the pressure of immediately bringing another cat home. We already had two cats, and I was hoping to eventually find a companion for the one who remained, but Greta understood that grief does not move on a schedule. The cat retreat itself was wonderful, and it was there that we met Willow. Greta had actually held that litter for us because she knew we were especially interested, and she believed Willow was the kitten who best matched what we were looking for: cuddly, sweet, and deeply affectionate. She was absolutely right. Willow chose us, and we could not be happier. Willow is healthy, incredibly sweet, and wonderfully cuddly. Since bringing her home, we have not had a single health issue or even a single bout of diarrhea, which, frankly, is not something I can say about our other two Ragdolls. It is very clear that Greta runs her cattery with immense love, care, thoughtfulness, and thoroughness. What touched me just as much was who Greta was throughout the process before we had even decided whether to move forward. She would send me kitten videos simply to make me smile during a very dark time. She kept me in her prayers. She showed up with genuine compassion and generosity when she did not have to, and I will never forget that. Another local breeder said no visits (very odd and suspicious!) and so we were of course very happy Greta said yes. Walking in, the home was clean, quiet and calm. We were able to see the younger and older kittens. The kitten rooms were clean and very calm. They were all very cute, clean, and healthy looking. The kittens were playful and clearly well socialized as they did not shy away from us at all. They even snuggled, which was another good sign the cats have lots of attention. Greta gave us bottles to feed the little sweeties. We came back for a second visit and stay for nearly an hour. We picked out a kitten after playing and snuggling with all the available kittens. It was hard to choose just one! We picked up a week later when he was old enough and Greta had a beautiful bag of goodies waiting for us to go home with our new kitty. Our sweetie warmed up to us the first night! We are still taking it slow so he can acclimate to his new surroundings, but I was really surprised he was able to get comfortable so quickly. We were really impressed by Greta's professionalism, kindness, and knowledge. These kitties are worth the premium paid (and still very reasonable compared to other breeders!).
