She asked a number of questions some of which I couldn't answer (question-what kind of pump? My answer "black"). Not once was I made to feel silly because I didn't know the answers. The appointment was made quickly, I was surprised that it would be the next day. Lou arrived promptly and was easy to speak with. He addressed the pump issue, checked the pressure in my well tank, fixed leaking gas lines and fixed my sump pump. The cost was in the range I expected. Mike answered the phone on the first ring and was fantastic with communication. He gave me his cell phone number so I could text him pictures of the plumbing set up at my home. Mike's employee, Julian, showed up right at the scheduled time of 8 am and was wearing a mask, which I appreciate. Julian was friendly, polite, organized, and efficient. I found Jon here on Yelp and called to see if he was interested in replacing my water softener and installing a rather large whole-house carbon filter. He asked me to email him the link to carbon filter I was considering, to get the ball rolling, and then he responded telling me the filter was appropriate so I could order it online. He scheduled an appointment for an estimate and then to complete the work, both in a timely manner. He gave me an estimate of time and his hourly rate which was very fair. I was impressed with the design of the brass pipes he built to my filter and then to my softener. He mounted the filter in a position so that it will be easy to replace the cartridge, and I am sure planned it that way. He also quickly fixed a leak in the basement sink faucet and installed a new faucet/drain in the bathroom. Jon is humble but confident, the type of confidence that can only come from having the proper education and experience.
