They're there to charge as much as possible for lack luster results. My main issue is I recently brought my car in. Any legit and reputable mechanic I've ever gone to has never, ever charged extra for diagnosis if they fixed the car. Thus place did. $100 extra for nothing. I've been to plenty of places, diagnostics is just part of the general labor as long as they fix the vehicle (vs just having a diagnostics done with no repair.) I was desperate and stuck so this was the only place open and around. They took advantage of that and milked me for everything. Untrustworthy is the only word I can politely use to describe this place.

I went home and miraculously I had actually received my new ID in the mail so I went back to get the papers. I showed him my new ID and he flipped out cussing me out and accusing me of being an "ahole" for not having it at first. Extremely disappointed in this I thought Deerfield was a family friendly town now a town where gas stations employees are going to cuss you out for having the wrong ID. Then she says she needs to call her supervisor who tells her to take all my expired receipts (all paid car washes mind you) and take my license down so as to not let me get future car washes. (Seriously, all this for an $8 car wash) she then tells me that she'll let me go and to never come back because "We don't want your kind back here!" He tells me that his employee would never say that as if he witnessed the whole thing which he did not and just walks away. Nice job alienating a long time customer. Never more!
