Great to find a place that could sell me a custom size soccer net, which fit perfectly and was of…read moregood quality. However, as part of the order I also ordered a ping pong table net and clamps. Unfortunately what they sent for clamps were not what was pictured in the product description for item TTC-14. That would have been no problem, however they then proceeded to give me the run around, saying the correct clamps were on backorder. When I followed up in August they said they would send the correct ones. When nothing arrived I followed up again in September and was told the part would be sent out "today." Unfortunately that was another unfulfilled commitment, hence I disputed the charge for the clamps through my Visa card provider. Amazing how the simple act of customer service and follow up can be so difficult.

I have had a terrible purchasing experience with West Coast Hitting Nets. I purchased the CG-1…read more10×10×10 golf hitting net and frame in April 2015. I used it from mid-April 2015 to mid November 2015. I spent $900 on this product. I stored the product in a box, in my garage over the winter. I re-assembled the net and frame in early May 2016, using the instruction CD and the anchors provided to hold the net down. The net blew over one time. When my sons and I tried to resurrect the net and frame, the piping warped and most of the support fittings went from a 90 degree angle to a 45 degree angle. One of the corner supports actually burst. All of those components were built in house and all of them, including the very anchors AND WELDS that were supposed to hold the unit down, were severely rusted. I contacted customer service to advise them of my dilemma, and to ask for remediation. I provided photos of all the components. Customer service explained that my one year warranty had expired. Additionally, they explained that I should have known the frame was going to rust due to the climate in my region (New York State). They even sent me the amount of annual precipitation where I live and I am not kidding. There was no such caveat mentioned on the website at the time of purchase or I would not have purchased the product in the first place. I asked West Coast Netting to provide me with a new frame that would not rust. The owner replied that he would provide an upgraded frame, but told me that it would rust at the points where the piping met the fitting! AND adding insult to injury, he told me that instead of charging me the extra $250 for the "fix", he would only charge me $205 plus shipping! This is a great example of a deceptive business practice where a vendor like West Coast Netting, would sell a $900 product to my shipping address, knowing it would rust AND expecting (blaming)me to know the same! This defies all logic, and the absence of any caveat, (oh, by the way, the product that you are purchasing will rust)on their website is deplorable. I would advise looking elsewhere if you are looking to buy a product and be expected by the West Coast Netting to magically know it was going to fail. Nice. $900.
