I went to purchase a gun. They told me the credit check would take a week. Which was fine. I called earlier that day to check the status and they told me I could come pick up the gun. Upon arrival they ended up denying me because they heard a voice in the background when I called earlier that day.. I was at work with my boss when I called he's always on the phone with our office. They thought I was buying it for someone else which is absolutely Ludacris. Worst shop in Kingman hands down. I'll never shop there or refer anyone. read more

Will never go back wanted to learn and buy compound bow and instead of helping me on a bow I wanted was told this wasn't for me by Ross the owner also chimed in with he doubts I would be able to be taught. Not only was the owner Chris rude my direction but also said I was a fucking idiot when I came in stating I know nothing about compound bows and really wanted to learn. I was excited when I seen a cool bow and was talked out of buying it and when Chris asked me if I wanted to see anything I explained that Ross talked me out of buying a bow that's when the owner Chris started in talking shitty to me. Comparing his 57 pound pull to me. When I stated I worked out at the gym he rolled his eye and walked away trash talking me in front of me. After buying many guns from this shop, he sold me a defective product that I found out after he knew was defective. He refused to refund my money. I shipped the product back to him as the manufacturer had requested, and he still refuses to refund my money. This is hundreds of dollars, and now I have no product or money. I stopped by The Gun Shop, with my visiting cousin from Australia, in July 2016. After a little chatting, Chris came out from behind the counter and really connected with us. He pulled all different guns out that he thought would be good for us to hold and experience (as much as we could without shooting live ammo) and made us feel incredibly welcome. It wasn't just a "shopping" experience. In summary, Chris connected with us, made us feel welcome, taught us a few things, and gave us a great experience. To top things off, Chris threw in an extra item when I purchased some cleaning gear for my Baretta 40 cal. We had a great experience. I will return to The Gun Shop anytime I'm in the area, because it's worth the time and effort, it's a great store, and Chris knows how to treat people. read more

Chris and his staff are friendly and helpful. If they dont have what you want in stock they will work hard to find what you want. And they are not arrogant if you, the customer, doesnt know everything about guns and their hardware. Some shops treat the customer poorly and impatiently if you arent already an expert on guns. Interested in a consignment weapon they have. I did not get any call backs for 3 days regarding some questions I had on a used weapon they're selling. Finally spoke with the owner of the store after 3 days of calling and he could not give me simple answers regarding 922R compliance, when it was imported, how and or if the firearm functions well since it has been noticeably dropped and damaged. Sounds like there is no box, that's ok and understood, but function of weapon is a basic question specially when it has been noticeably dropped and the seller explains as much, then tells me I must be looking for a cheaper weapon, although I know entirely what a M+M SIG 553 P is, thus the calls and questions, then he hung up on me after saying this is not the firearm for me; implying I could not afford it. With a list price of $2500 for a used .556 pistol, these are normal questions, nothing out of the norm for a used weapon; specially one that's been dropped; I just wanted clarification on a few things. Typical small time/town gun store with the 'I'm the smartest gun guy in the world, you know nothing.' Well, I'm prior service army, infantry, but gun lover more than anything and in my Wife's opinion, I spend too much on 'toys' but after this experience, I would never recommend this place. Not for the lack of cool historic display stuff inside, just stereotypical gun store owner who feels he's God's gift to gun knowledge and the customer must know nothing; I had basic questions, as such, treat customers as customers and don't assume they can't afford a weapon they've called several days requesting basic info for. read more
