These employees go above and beyond to follow all laws to not only ensure everyone's safety but to also remain open to provide services to the public. I have now purchased 5 different firearms from this store as well as many trips for ammo and accessories. Every single time I have been welcomed to the store and thanked for my business. I have asked plenty of questions and have always been treated with respect. Bought a 940 pro tactical from there that turned out to be a lemon p.o.s. I know that the manufacturer is at fault if anything but I feel as if this establishment is just bad luck/cursed and you'll understand after my story. I sent my Glock slide to get a red dot scs mos cut for the "Holosun SCS". I even called them back less than an hour after dropping my slide off to let them know to make sure to get the right cut. Dumb and ill informed employee said "it's all good they just need to look at the holosun scs red dot and the gun smith should know off that". Waited six weeks and picked it up today just to find out that they made the wrong cut. The manager was telling me basically insinuating that it was my fault for not telling them that the foot print was an "mos scs". I than told her that "basically your gunsmith doesn't do their research before the cutting process?" Same thing that I was told by her employee thinking that they would look into it, crazy. And I don't know why the employee didnt write that down for me if anything. She told me that I can just buy another red dot that fits the cut I received. I told her No, I didn't buy this red dot just for it not to fit? I bought this one specifically for its features. All they had to do was look up the damn red dot and it would show the footprint they needed to do the proper cut. Lazy gunsmiths if you ask me, and my buddy called me soon after I left telling me that the gunsmiths had done the wrong cut on his Glock slide too!?!??!? These guys at ammo bros and their crappy third party gunsmiths need to seriously reevaluate their work order processing and hire people that know about the products they are selling. Typical gun shop, they have the guns most people want. Ammo is expensive, guns are mostly MSRP but they had stuff in stock. Mostly unprofessional staff at the gun counter cursing, dropping f booms, and trying to sound cool. More annoying is when they give their interpretation of the law. If I want legal advise I'll ask a lawyer, not the dude making minimum wage selling overpriced ammo. read more

Update: I've visited the store many times since the original review and can definitely say that my first experience with them was an outlier. The service I got from subsequent visits was stellar. I had to wait my turn as usual but it did not take an excessive amount of time. The staff never made me feel rushed or pressured to get my business done. Today I visited to pick up a firearm and some ammo and I was expecting to spend some time there due to the new administrative burdens placed by CA on gun stores and owners. Nope, the gentleman who wears his sunglasses on his hat finished my transaction in a hair over 10 minutes. If I was at the fishing store that also sells guns this would've taken AT LEAST 30 minutes. Needless to say, I shall be shopping this store rather than the other chain. Prices are a wash, it's the service and deeper selection that will make me come back. read more

The worst service! Coronavirus time have you wait outside for over an hour only to tell you that they'll be closing shortly and won't help anyone after 530pm for ammo. Waited in line for an hour starting at 5pm their new temporary hours are 6pm closing. They helped 4 people in that time. Two people left 15 min before closing and there were 5 people in line. They opened the door at 6:05 to tell us they are closed and won't help anyone else. Never ordering from them or giving them business. read more

I'm extremely upset, I will NEVER set foot in that place again. I just purchased a rifle from out of state and had it shipped to this disgraceful store, i wish i would have known how careless and unprofessional they are here. I know it's not a brand new weapon nor the prettiest but I would treat anyone's and everyone's belongings as if they were mine, not these people here. They're either untrained or extremely dumb and careless. When they received my rifle it was decently packaged but when I went back to pick it up, it was lose in the box, rounds rolling around banging and scuffing the scope and everywhere on the rifle, so was the bolt, lose inside banging up against the scope and tearing through the box. When I walked in I was greeted by Jimmy and he told me all the process to purchase a firearm for the first time, took a test and the questions I got wrong on the test he explained them to me and told me what the correct answer was and kind of did a scenario of each question, which was good for my understanding which work perfect for me. Okay so here's the deal. The staff here is 100% the most amazing group of people. I love those tatted up teddy bears and all the resources they provide. I've gone in several times and it's always the same small group working. As I understand it, it takes over a month for gun shops to hire new employees. So during this crazy apocalyptic run for guns, these guys are carrying us through. Doing triple the work with no extra help. They've taken precautions to make everyone distance themselves while waiting. They are accepting of everyone. even the ones who waited until the poop hit the fan to decide they need to protect themselves and their families. So if firearms are important to you- show up early, wait patiently, and enjoy the craziness that is us trying to function during these unprecedented times. I seriously don't understand the bad reviews. People in this shop are cool and very informative. Some people just need to get off their high horse I suppose. Me and my buddy went in for ammo and ended up picking up an AK each because the price was just too good. No one talked us into it or tried to forcefully sell us the rifles. It was completely our choice to buy it or not. I was happy with my first purchase at this location as well as I was with the Ontario location. Both are good shops and have great service.
