I arrived in Montreal late afternoon on a Monday which is not the easiest time to find food…read moreanywhere but at fast food establishment. I ordered a mixed shawarma wrap, tabouleh salad and a side of hummus. Everything was pretty tasty and served quickly. The tabouleh was different than I've had before, mostly parsley, barely any bulgar but it was very fresh and tasty. The meat on the shawarma was juicy and tasty. I would visit this chain again for a quick meal.

My friend was really hyping up the Lebanese chain Boustan and even mentioned that they had vegan…read morefriendly menu items. I had to see it for myself and low-and-behold, they actually did. They have a vegan pita that uses faux meat that tastes just like shawarma, with all the fixings like hummus, tomatoes, lettuce, etc. in a warm pita wrap. I was very surprised at how good it was and they really seemed to be happy to provide plant-based options. I also tried a side of their potatoes and falafels with a vegan garlic sauce that they happened to provide upon request. Both were fine - neither were the best I've had by a long shot, but fine for being fast food. Given the nature of the restaurant, there is absolutely cross-contamination, but I'm sure you knew that already.

This is our local Boustan. We're big fans of Boustan, it's definitely our shawarma of choice,…read moregenerally. But this particular location has gone downhill. Regularly, items are missed from the order. Most recently, we did not get a side of potatoes from a trio, or two extra garlic sauces that were ordered as a side. Sauces used to come separate from the bowls, and now they give just a small dollop in the bowl. They have added tomatoes to their coleslaw, which I'm not a fan of and wish they hadn't. The rice is often under cooked. They used to have a lovely soup and omelettes on the menu, both of which I practically lived on following a surgery last year, that are now gone. Consistency is key, we have been hesitant for awhile to order from this location out of fear that something would be missed or done wrong, and we'll probably avoid it moving forward, which is really upsetting.

Going thru UberEats app, I encountered this restaurant. As a vegetarian, I took the falafel and…read moreeggplant pita with salad, rice and fries. I was under impression, the fries meant garlic potatoes like Boustan, Basha or Amir, but I was wrong, they were regular fries. It was a slight disappointment due to that. Otherwise, my pita was exceptionally good. I like the idea of the mix of falafel and eggplant. My family enjoyed their shrimp, beef shawarma and chicken shish taouk platters. The meats dishes were well flavored and cooked. The shrimps were slightly salty but flavorful. Definitely, it was an interesting grab of food.

All wonderful choices. Service is also good. If you plan on going in the winter for dinner during the week, ensure you go early enough as they close earlier if the restaurant is quiet. This means that once you finish eating they will let you know they're closing even though they are supposed to close an hour later. I don't appreciate that but will keep this in mind for future reference as this is not the first time this has happened to me. Enjoy their yummy Libanese freshness

Very tasty ^_^ I was about to give it a non-perfect 4 star review instead because the meat (I got…read moresteak/beef) wasn't as tender as I'd like it to be, but they did something I haven't tried before, which was grill the bread while in sammich mode, which made the arabic thin pita bread crispy. That just brought it all together and very delicious ^_^ I even enjoyed the humus, when usually i don't like that stuff xp I also liked the pickled beets too, wasn't too sour or overwhelming for me. Was a really nice balanced sammich all the way down, very full of meat I'm happy we have a place like this down here in the west island. My parents use to only get ones from further away but stopped because they had a fire accident and removed their charcoal cooking methods so there was no point for us to travel all the way there anymore for something like this when it's now as common as anywhere. I actually normally don't like these kinds of sammiches, especially since you find really low quality dry tough cheap versions in malls and places like Amir, which I just can't lol So this was nice ^_^ also was cool how they seemed to have some sort of a special going on where you order 5 and get 1 free xp We really enjoyed it, everyone liked theirs, and I was really happy my dad enjoyed it too since it was father's day and he rarely eats food that wasn't made at home haha XD
