This is our local Boustan. We're big fans of Boustan, it's definitely our shawarma of choice, generally. But this particular location has gone downhill. Regularly, items are missed from the order. Most recently, we did not get a side of potatoes from a trio, or two extra garlic sauces that were ordered as a side. Sauces used to come separate from the bowls, and now they give just a small dollop in the bowl. They have added tomatoes to their coleslaw, which I'm not a fan of and wish they hadn't. The rice is often under cooked. They used to have a lovely soup and omelettes on the menu, both of which I practically lived on following a surgery last year, that are now gone. Consistency is key, we have been hesitant for awhile to order from this location out of fear that something would be missed or done wrong, and we'll probably avoid it moving forward, which is really upsetting. read more

Fresh lebanese food kinda cafeteria style. Made to order. Guys more interested in getting my number than cooking my food right. This place is similar to a chipolte except it serves lebanese food. I found all the veggies to be fresh which was surprising considering it was all laid out openly (like subway). The flavours were decent but I live in a lebanese neighborhood so my standards are high! (theres a lebanese pita place every 2 blocks). The guys were way too busy chatting me up that they burnt my friends pita. They were nice though and completly fixed the order. It did take some time to fix though. I liked the garlic paste on the potatoes, it was delicious. The portions are large and it is well worth your money spent. I didnt like the attention I got here though. It kinda was unexpected and uncalled for. But hey the food was decent and cheap. So that was a bonus! read more

So I ordered from this store last night: a 2 for 1 junior Sharma plate. The food came with 1/2 the amount of chicken in each plate. So 2 for one but only chicken for one plate divided up. I felt ripped off and would have returned the plate to the kitchen and got up and left had I been eating in the place. So basically a plate with rice and coleslaw with chicken as one of the adders. I will never order from this place again. read more

Boustan is my go-to takeout but THIS. This was not good. The chicken doesn't seem fresh, there were hard bits and skin in my plate. It honestly didn't taste good at all. The rice was not fully cooked, so were the potatoes. There was an infinitesimal amount of vegetables and sauce, the hummus was dry. This experience was overall catastrophic and there were not a lot of people ordering, which usually means not as fresh products and my fears were heavily confirmed. read more

Avoid at all costs. A warning of death to your taste buds and stomach: This is not the real Boustan. Not even close. The original location on Crescent is the one and only true Boustan. Please save yourself and order from the Crescent location. This place sucks incredibly so very very much. The falafel tastes as if some psychopathic teenaged incel took a blunt object in their murder bathroom and angrily smashed a bunch of dry raw chickpeas in an overused and under washed gym sock. The guy then took those coarse and sharp chickpea shards and balled them up, he lets them age for about ten minutes while stopping for a session of angry masturbation after that he fried 'em up in some rancid motor oil. He then serves them to you approximately 48 to 96 hours later with a side of shredded two week old iceberg lettuce. The rice is maybe aged 7 days and that tahini has new alien life growing in it. The potatoes have a subtle rancid soupçon of mouse droppings and that garlic sauce is pretty much smegma. Do yourself a favour and punch yourself in the gut a few dozen times. That'll distract yourself from the hunger once you vomit it all out. It's actually a sex thing for your new tenant, the friendly tapeworm who just moved into your colon. Happy pooping. read more

Good old reliable Boustan's even during quarantine! Nothing fancy but had a craving for some middle eastern food and ordered through Uber eats and were happy to find out there was no delivery fee. My favourites from there are the chicken pita sandwich and the garlic potatoes. Decided to order a large side of potatoes since last time the medium was not enough to share and two pitas. We were not disappointed, the portion of potatoes huge! It was so good we ended up finishing it off anyway. Ordered the falafel pita. The counter person was really nice. However the place wasn't super clean& some of the ingredients looked beat up. But the service was nice and super fast. It was a takeout order, after eating the falafel my stomach started to hurt. I usually love Boustan. I've eaten at the Crescent location many times, as well as the newer location near the Metropolis. Their food has always been on point. However on Saturday night, we ordered delivery at my friend's place in NDG (3 pitas - 2 chicken, 1 falafel and 3x garlic potatoes). IT TOOK 1.5 HOURS TO ARRIVE and if only that was the only problem! The food was disgusting. Stale bread, GREY chicken and even their garlic potatoes weren't that great (HOW?!) I was so hungry that I ate most of my meal... and started to feel sick. Long story short, I threw up everything I ate. The 2 others with me also hated the food and said it was very dry and stale. Shame on you Boustan NDG, we are really let down and will obviously never eat there again! read more

I always order delivery from Bousties and I gotta say I'm pretty satisfied with their service. They always show up within the time frame they tell you, the food is always warm and fresh. You're gonna wanna try their Kafta. Their shawarma is decent, but their Kafta is where it's at. I don't know why they have Pepsi instead of Coke, that's the one thing I'd change. read more

The food is good, although the quality seems to vary greatly. Sometimes we get platters that are lukewarm, and it's just unappetizing to see them nuke it in front of you. Similarly, the sandwiches have been oddly filled, with the first bite being only garlic mayo and lettuce, and all the meat stuffed at the bottom. Ends up falling apart and the first bite is a... surprise. Also, some of the dudes are overly flirtatious, to the point of me not being comfortable going there by myself anymore. There's nothing overtly disrespectful, but as someone with anxiety, I dont want to be subjected to that when I just want to get some quick food. read more

I finally got to this place. Not sure why it took me so long, as it's a 3 minute drive from my house, but better late than never! I walked in and noticed they don't have plates or utensils. You eat out of foam clamshells and you get small plastic forks. So I tried the beef shawarma with potatoes, coleslaw and sauces. It came to about $12.50 with tax. It was ok. Meat was very overdone but the taste was good. Cute little place, very clean. This seems like great food for the end of a night out. read more

I live for Boustan's shawarma on st catherine and crescent, its the best shawarma EVER and I almost fainted when they opened 2 minutes away from home but I came out so disappointed after giving them many chances; I ordered chicken sandwich first time and they just put chicken thats been sitting in a metal bowl for ages, you know the dry one- it was so bad.. I got the combo once and meat was dry. I got the regular chicken plate the last time and I got food poisoning? I was in bed for 3 days in a row no.joke. Their service is so rushed even when theres no line up and they put everything in the plate without asking you before what you want in it like the other boustans do and their not generous with the chicken portions. I love My shishtaok on a spit but it has to be crispy on one side and moist on the other . Our 4 delivery dinners was was hard, dry and drier. My meal was Quite disappointing and We chose it over another popular restaurant. Won't make that mistake again. read more

Woohoo! Was in the area and was lucky enough to get a wrap on the go. I love Boustans but don't find myself downtown anymore to be able to enjoy it. With the only good late night eatery in NDG shut down (RIP DADs Bagel), I'm elated that Boustans has opened its doors to us for late night eats on Fridays & Saturdays (4am) - 11pm closing time other nights. The quality was just as good as downtown if not better, I have no doubt they'll grow the NDG clientele and serve us for years to come. read more

I'm giving this place a "Fair" review because it use to be good when it opened but the quality just went down hill. The last few times i've gotten food here it was just really bad. I kept thinking it was a one off day but finally my friend got sick the last time we ordered. It's a shame because whoever is running this place is giving the Boustan name a bad rep. read more

I always go out of my way to eat shwarma when I'm in Montreal. Heck, I've driven up from Plattsburgh just to eat here. It's a busy place and they expect you to know what to order, but they are also accomodating when someone new comes in. Food is honest, flavorful and priced right. read more
