Stopped here for a quick, cheap lunch. This location is nestled in the nice food court in the mall. We ordered a chicken wrap and a beef wrap. Apparently the beef comes with hummus and the chicken comes with another white sauce. Next time I'm gonna request the hummus. The white sauce was pretty good, though. Because the meat is ready to go when you order, you don't have to wait long for the food once you put in the order. You can't beat the price. Both of our meals together was under $15, which is pretty good when you are travelling through Montréal and have no idea where to go to get good priced food. The wraps, by the way, were absolutely delicious. Tasted pretty authentic, especially for a place inside the food court. We went for lunch but we are planning to go back later in the vacation on another day for dinner! read more

Great food and quality! I came here for lunch and got the Shish taouk trio. It was delicious! The pita was jam packed with the shish taouk chicken. It was very filling and very delicious. The flavours were really good and the toppings made it even better. I would recommend asking for the hot sauce. It is very good! I got potatoes on the side. They were also unreal. They had a nice crunch on the outside with a soft inside. The flavours were really food too and they came out hot and fresh. For the drink, I got the Cott black cherry. I was surprised to see that they have that as I rarely see anyone selling them these days. It was a perfect drink to have with the sandwich and potatoes. Overall, great value and delicious flavours! The food court where this place is located is bimming with good food options and it will hard to choose from all the choices avaiable. But if you choose this out of the bunch yoou will def be treated to some good food with huge qty. I order a chicken schwarma plate whixh came with rice, potaties,hummus,garlic cream and salad. The food was def freshly made as evident by the taste since it was different from other stuff and really good. The chicken was not as moist but not as dry either so right there. Mixed experience, service was decent. It seemed owner was working the front. I found the protein part of my wrap lacking substance, overall flavor was very mild compared to well flavors Lebanese food j have had in the past. It was later at night, I noticed the employees were eating while working with food. Pretty good Mediterranean food with good portions. The couscous dishes are pretty good, they gave you some sauces that would soak into the couscous that make them taste good. Worst Montreal restaurant experience ever. My wife ordered something with a salad there. Something very hard and sharp was in the salad, and before my wife could spit it out, it went down her throat. This sharp foreign object cut her throat in 2 places, forcing her to cough up blood. She was rushed to the emergency room and spent 2 days in the hospital. Our vacation was ruined. Baba took no responsibility for this event, and offered zero assistance. Will never ever return. read more

I was having trouble deciding what to eat with all the choices in the food court today and went with baba. They told me that I would have to wait 5 min for the kafta (fresh!) so I opted for their daily special instead, which was a beef platter for $8.79. It comes with all the things that platters would normally have - salads, rice, potatoes, and pita. You also get a drink as well. $10 after everything! I would prefer the beef to be a bit softer (it's a stewed beef) but I love the salads and potatoes. I would definitely visit again, as it is a convenient elevator ride down from staying at the Hyatt. read more

I had beef shwarma. It was 11.50, a bit expensive, usually shwarma plates in Torontot are around 10$. The beef was a bit dry, the portion was huge. Salads were fresh and delicious. You have a choices of cuscus, rice and potato, all very delicious. A bit salty and oily in general, I guess that makes it less healthy and more delicious. Worth trying. read more

Visited the food court first time yesterday Mr 7/18 and had trouble with the wealth of choices offered. Finally decided on a falafel sandwitch trio because it was, after all, an unknown food court in full lunchtime mode with people climbing over each other to get their food. The salads are hilarious, seriously thrown at the container hit-and-miss fashion. A lit the worse for wear, it was delicious. The falafel sandwich, chosen for the circumstances and because it's pretty difficult to mess up, was by far the best I ever had and there are Lebanese restaurants that I will drop into frequently in my area and am usually served "specials". This was a first trip downtown in a few years. I intend to return and sample the entire menu. read more

We went to Montreal from September 7 to 13, 2019 for a conference. We were stayed at Travelodge by Wyndham on René Lévesque West my wife, our 23 month old daughter and me. On 09 September we decided to go eat at the complex desjardins at Baba, which we had seen on the internet. We ordered and ate two dishes (a so called "healthy" dish with lots of green, raw onion salad and hummus and a mixed dish). That night until September 12 my wife and daughter became ill with diarrhea and vomiting. My daughter who got sick one day after my wife had diarrhea until the 15th of September after we got back to Alberta. Fortunately I did not get sick. All of the family members we visited had all fallen ill with diarrhea and vomiting except the dad. On that day, that was the only fresh handled food we had eaten. I suspect this restaurant because in addition to being sick, the waiter had seemed uncomfortable as if he was not feeling well. I do not recommend this restaurant to other people.
