Salad Bar

As much you enjoy the Hospitality of the staff but it all comes down to how enjoyable their food is. It's just your average snack with sandwiches that might be to your taste but nothing out of the ordinary. If you fancy a shawarma or a kabab sandwich give it a go and let me know how you liked it.

First time ordering from here since moving to the West Island. Was prepared super quickly and arrived fast, too. Delicious, generous portions. I had the filet mignon kebab which was tasty, cooked medium (perfect) and my husband had the shish taouk chicken, which was tender and flavourful. The rice, potatoes and salad that came with the plates were delicious too. Will definitely order again!

I prefer to dine in here, but the takeaway is a second option in our Covid world. I love Lebanese food as it is fresh, healthy, and tasty. There us a nice menu here and when I dined in I enjoyed the salad bar. I usually get the falafel plate.

I happened to be passing through Montreal West Island & fell on this small restaurant. I was attracted by the name since my favourite flower is Jasmin as well as my Disney hero. I got in with skepticism since I am very critical of middle eastern food. I had the Shawerma sandwich, I have to admit it was the best I ever tasted. The owner also presented me with his Taouk sandwich on a saj bread ( it's a flat thin bread ). Every dish including the salads were delicious. I totally recommend this place.

The owner and his staff of welcoming and friendly and are there to explain the menu and even gave us some sample to try. First dish was the hummus. It reminded me when I was back touring the Middle East. The hummus was so fresh and you can taste the ingredients with a hint of lemon juice. It was so good we order another one. Second dish Muhuhammara This is a dish with garlic, pepper, walnuts and outlive oil. This was a hit. I could not believe how good it tasted and how fresh it tatsted Third Roasted cauliflower This is one of my favorite things to eat and they did it perfectly. Roasted and seasoned just the way I like it. They put a touch of tahini on top. I would of gotten more but they sold out. 4th dish Grilled chicken in lemon Usually the chicken is dry. Not here it was supper moist and the Lemmon sauce was right on point. Not to overpowering. It blended well with all the spicies. This is a must try if you like Mediterranean food. not only is the food amazing the staff go out of the way to make you feel welcome

Come hungry because they Bring out the variety of Dishes off their main menu. They started off with a bunch of their dips. All of them were super delicious I could make a meal out of just eating that. The brought out generous portions of meat, but my favorite was the chicken. The presentation of everything was beautiful too. They had a DJ there who was FANTASTIC the vibe was so fun, a little jazzy but upbeat and mixed so nicely. The service is paced a little slow but you need the time to make sure to eat everything. I plan on coming back here!

Very juicy and tender ^_^ I really liked their Lebanese coffee too. Normally I hate all arabic coffee because they usually go heavy on the perfume and acid, but this was very nicely balanced and easy to drink. I didn't feel like I needed to add anything to it. I could have easily drank many mini cups of it. I was impressed that the dessert fruit platter was very fresh, because I'm not use to that from restaurants in general. So it felt really nice that they did not give us any old fruits and I could enjoy it as if it was freshly purchased from the grocery store that day. The variety was also very nice and refreshing to eat after such a huge banquet. Everyone else really enjoyed everything (as well as seeing eachother there). I do have a little criticism on the rest of the food though. All very pleasing textures but tasted bland: Muhamara - red pepper dip Babaganouj - eggplant dip Fetouch - Salad with toasted flat bread pieces Habra Nayeh - Fresh (lamb or beef?) tartare cured with onions (I think) What I mean by bland is if I add a little salt then I just taste the salt, I just couldn't sense the other seasonings, maybe I'm just used to really heavy flavors because I do notice that a lot of things I find bland, other quebecois find they tastes great for them. Cheese rolls had a really nice and enjoyable crispy texture to them, but their stuffing inside was way too salty for me... YET it worked really well when I broke them up and ate them with the rest of the items that were too bland, which I preferred to do instead of adding salt. Arabic bread was plentiful and fresh/soft. Cut for us so it was easy to take and not feel pressure to overdo it. I (and just 1 other person) did not favor the yabra rolls (vine leaf rolls stuffed with rice and minced meat). They were all very fancy looking because they were all uniformed, but it was too soft for our liking. Chicken could had been juicier for my picky liking, but the rest enjoyed it very much. French fries were nothing special to me, but the rest liked them a lot. It's always "nice" to play Tetris with your 500 different plates of food on your table ;) Restaurant sign looks run-down outside but at least the place seems clean inside (didn't check bathroom). Outdoor seating area looked very nice and trendy, indoors looked grandma-ish but at least it was very well air-conditioned and comfortable. Luckily we went when they weren't crowded. Good parking easy to find restaurant. Looking at their menu after and there's many items I's like to try, like their yogourt/cucumber/mint thing which I've had as a drink before so would like to see how they do theirs.

Tried this restaurant based on friends' recommendations and saw that it was highly rated on Yelp…read more Good pita bread. Why they put it in plastic bags on the table is a mystery and not especially classy. Very little explanation that everything is served family style. If I wanted family style dining, I would have stayed home and cooked. We had a pricey vegetarian appetizer plate where most of the foods tasted too vinegary or garlicky. The eggplant salad tasted more of onion than eggplant. The fish was pretty good but by the time it finally came, I wasn't hungry anymore. The rice had no flavour and the fries, although nicely crisp also were tasteless. The taste I had of my partner's chocolate cake was good but cold in the middle as if it wasn't fully defrosted. The service was friendly yet not attentive. We had to ask for soda twice before it came. The constant reel of what I think was Lebanese music videos projected on the wall were a visually loud distraction from the overall lack of ambiance. The happy birthday music they play was fun, but we're not coming back.
