They were polite and neat as they worked in my house for several days. Gary and Owen are truly craftsmen and built beautiful pieces to complete my house with perfected touches. He is everything you would want in a handyman. And how hard it is to find someone like that now a days... I have hired many contractors and he is certainly one of the best I have ever came across. First time I have ever witnessed a handyman (or anyone for that matter) whipping out an UV light thingamajig to observe the details of his painting job. I don't even know what that tool is called. It looked like a mini lightsaber. I can safely refer him to my Japanese friends in Greater Boston area, which really says something.

Ed worked with us to design and build beautiful built in bookshelves and cabinets that perfectly fit the space (with all of its uneven surfaces!), and even included a custom litter box space for our discerning felines. He also adjusted the electrical outline to accommodate the new built-ins, and, with a newborn in the house, we appreciated that he did as much work as possible ahead of time! We would trust him, and his design recommendations, for any future project. We keep staring at the bookshelves, saying to each other how great they look!

My husband and I have been remodeling an old two family for the past two years and of all the contractors we've hired, Richard was by far the best. He's responsive, replies to text and email, and keeps you updated on the progress of the project. He did our whole kitchen cabinet set, our bathroom vanity and installed a very oddly shaped back door. Throughout the whole process, I trusted him in my home and that he would finish the job. We found Richard to be a consummate professional from the beginning and throughout the entire process. He worked with us to understand the design aesthetic we were looking to achieve, and helped us choose wood and finishes which would most effectively complement the design. His measurements and fittings were impeccable. Once the design was chosen and the construction began (off site at Richard's workshop), Richard was excellent at keeping us updated as to how the project was proceeding and what our timetable was looking like. When it came time for installation (about a week), all of the components arrived and were put expertly (and neatly so) into place. The result is a beautiful, high-end built-in unit which looks great in our home. We could not be happier with the result of this project. I would not hesitate to recommend Richard Gray for any carpentry project and we expect to be calling upon Richard for other carpentry needs we will have.
