When we realized we needed beach chairs for the week we called a few companies to try to rent them. This company answered the phone immediately and had chairs in stock the same day for us to rent. We rented them for the week since it's cheaper that way. The staff was super friendly when we walked in and got us set up with what we needed quickly. They even helped us out mid trip when one of the chairs ripped at a seam. We took it in and they immediately traded it for a new one, no questions asked or hesitation. If and when we come back to the island we won't hesitate to use them again. read more

My husband and I rented a scooter from here. Absolutely worth it. Paid about $160 to keep it for two entire days. The workers are super kind, friendly, and funny. They give a short 5 (ish) minute safety course describing how to use the scooter. All you need is a picture of your car insurance, your ID, and a credit card to place it under. They even have a drop box for the keys for easy, quick drop off. You just park the rental anywhere in the parking lot. Highly recommend this little place read more

Tried to unsuccessfully rent a bicycle during our week stay at Anna Marie Island. They didn't answer the phone the few times I tried, didn't return the voice-mail I left and ignored the online reservation request I made. We realize that due to Covid or high demand they may be too busy to respond. If that's the case, how hard is it to chamge the vm message or add an auto reply to an online request, indicating that they are too busy to respond? Our resort told usthat AMI always called back and by the rime we figured oht we'd been blown off, it waa too late to go elsewhere. Won't make that mist again! read more

We drove from Longboat Key for bikes-looking for hybrids with more than a single speed and some way to carry items to beach. Unfortunately they had no bikes other than cruisers that could accommodate baskets or bags and they didn't seem concerned about lack of options. We left unimpressed and headed to Backyard Bikes where the service is great! read more

They have good bike rentals but they scam you, they have a sign out front that says rent a bike get a free beer. I came in with a group of 7, my sister and husband paid with a credit card and received one receipt which had the free beer on it, then my mom went to pay and paid with cash and asked for a receipt to for her free beer, he specifically stated you only need one receipt for the beer. HE WOULD NOT GIVE HER A RECEIT! Which is wrong. When we arrived at the bar that would give the free beer, we were told only one receipt for each free beer. Which we were lied to at the rental place. When we eventually got back to the rental place the cashier was completely rude. We told him that it was wrong that he didn't give us all receipts he told us that of course not everyone would get a free beer, when the sign says free beer with every rental. Completely false advertisement and the cashier had no remorse for lying to us or not letting us have receipts for cash purchases read more

Convenient location for anyone staying in Holmes Beach. We had planned to rent bikes for our stay, and stumbled upon this location our first day. The owner Chris and his staff are all very friendly, and you can't beat the prices. We paid $14 a day for each bike, and had a blast. I'd suggest the beach cruisers. Chris also threw in a free bike lock which came in handy. We biked most of the island, checking out beachside bars/restaurants, piers and local hangouts. The island is very safe for bikers! We also signed up for an intercoastal jet ski tour here, but I believe it was run through a different company. I'd rent from this place again! Chris also owns a sports bar called Slims place and gives you a free Koozie and drink passes for it. Sadly we didn't get a chance to check it out, but certainly will next time! read more

We did the sunset /dolphin cruise. I was fantastic! Jeb was our guide and he was very knowledgeable of the area and the animals. We had an unbelievable encounter with dolphins. I would definitely recommend this excursion for anyone. read more

You can't beat this service for fantastic family fun! I rented bikes for myself and my two boys, 7 and 10 years old. The staff at the shop were very patient with the kids as they selected their bikes, and they gave me great advice about where to take them. The best part was that they delivered the bikes directly to Robinson Nature Preserve, so we didn't have to ride through traffic. We had the best bike ride of our lives, on comfortable, well-maintained bikes. Compared to everything else we've done in Florida, this was a real bargain. I'd recommend this shop to everyone, but it's especially great for cycling with kids. read more
