It ended up costing slightly higher than i was quoted at a tint shop, just for the tint, not including the new windshield. The work was quick and well-done. I highly recommend Astro Auto Glass

Sure, the service was efficient as suggested, but their business model is crooked and misleading. On the phone they said their diagnostic fee was $65, and if it was a simple issue with the power window slipping out of it's assembly, the fix would be quick and would apply against the diagnostic fee and cost nothing more. But if it's a regulator issue, she said, it would take longer. This language was rehearsed and deliberate and implied diagnostic fees applied toward repairs... Until they gave me a regulator diagnosis, with a repair cost of $315, and retained the diagnostic fee in top of that. Over $400 to fix my basic power window issue is lame enough, but crafting their misleading language to cover up an objectively money-grabbing business practice puts them on a par with the legendary charlatans of Brake Mastery. I will never go back here, nor recommend them to anyone else. Absolutely shameful.

***First time receiving so much communication from a business. Love it!***…read more I visited Safelite for the first time with my current vehicle for a windshield replacement, which I scheduled through my insurance. I had a 7:00 am appointment and was the only customer at that time. The whole process moved quickly--I received appointment reminders and updates about my car via text and email. Kristian, my glass replacement technician, was very professional and ranks among Safelite's best technicians in the industry. He competes in the Auto Glass Technician Competition (AGTO) and the Auto Glass Technician Calibration. Kristian took the time to explain the process and inquired if I had any questions before and after installation. Even though my insurance company estimated up to a 3-hour service time, Kristian was done in 1.25 hours. There was no time wasted, no misunderstandings -- just a seamless, efficient service from beginning to end.

The technician knocked on my door and told me that this has never happened before and it was his bad and they will fix it. I tried to make an appointment and then all of a sudden they were saying it was my fault "wear and tear"and that they will not cover it. Nothing was wrong with my camera before this. I have called and left voicemails for managers, district managers and corporate. No one has called me back. My insurance agent also has tried to call. This is bad practice and they should pay for the camera they broke. I have talked to several different companies and they all agree that they are responsible for the broken camera.
