My kids and Niece having a great time bowling Having pizza and nachos that were delicious

With all the craziness of CoVid going on in New York I wasn't sure AMF would be open. I called ahead to check( and missing the sound of Marys voice from our years of bowling when our oldest( who is 30 now)was 6) was answered by a man with no customer service skills stated they were open and it was first come first serve. We walked in and noticed a lot of open lanes, 2 customers in front of us and the man I spoke to on the phone trying to handle inputting their info. As we were next and I asked for a lane(one possibly not in the middle of people)I was cut off mid sentence and told "I'm letting you know you Will be in the middle of all those people" as he pointed to the left. I then finished my sentence saying "because my husband just had chemo and I was hoping we could be on the end". In the middle of my speaking he again said "No I'm letting you know you can't." Wow! No, sorry we're having tournaments or have reservations for parties or anything just continual snapping. I really wish Mary didn't retire-I'm sure she would never let an employee be so rude. (And yes I did call him a douche-usually I'm nicer but between me and my 2 sons he was rude so I felt it appropriate. I'm getting sick of people being rude to me all the time it's unacceptable!) Needless to say my husband stayed for about 20 minutes and left and me and the kids had a Great time anyway!

Clean place, plenty of lanes. They have a full bar and offer several food options while you play. They have leagues on different nights, and offer discounts on food & drink to league members. In house pro shop for your bowling needs. Everyone that works there is very friendly and more than willing to help as needed. Prices are a little steep on drinks, but food is reasonable.

Our son was invited to a Birthday Party Saturday 6:30p.m.-8:30p.m. A total of 17 people bowled with 4 lanes being used for the group. The staff was friendly towards me and my son.I was surprised she didn't have a helper for the party. She had a lot of people show up. Kyle The Bartender was awesome! I only had 1 Long Island Ice Tea, $7.49? (I don't remember, don't judge me) It came in a really tall glass and it was good and strong. My girlfriend also ordered a drink but I don't remember the name (again, don't judge me‍) She said it tasted like a Cherry Jolly Ranger! We went back to the lanes to watch the party. About 1/2 my drink was gone when it my throat started to tighten up and I felt dizzy! I needed food before I took another sip! I confessed this to my friend and she busted out laughing! These kids were not going to remember me as "The Mom who fell off the chair passed out as a drunk!" Thank God, staff came out with the ,,! The chicken fingers were good size pieces and fries were hot and crispy! The place was clean. The bathrooms were clean. I'd go again to bowl and be prepared next time to eat dinner BEFORE I order a drink!

I purchased an unlimited play…read morecard at the beginning of November; however, the information provided at the time of purchase turned out to be incorrect, which initially made me ineligible for a promised discount. To the manager's credit, once the issue was addressed, it was handled professionally and the discount was honored. The more frustrating issue occurred during dinner service. A full rack of ribs was clearly listed on the menu, yet the server informed me she did not have the ability to order a full rack, only a half rack. I had to insist on ordering what was advertised and request to speak with a manager. During this interaction, the server responded rudely, stating that no one else had an issue with this and that I was the only one. Two minutes later, she returned and stated the issue was "fixed" and proceeded to take the order. This was not an isolated experience. This is the third time I have encountered situations at Dave & Buster's that required manager involvement for basic service matters, which should not be the norm for a family entertainment and dining establishment. If it were not for the fact that my son truly enjoys this place--and the limited family entertainment options in the Buffalo area--I would not return. I would not generally recommend Dave & Buster's based on service consistency. That said, if you are in a similar situation and need a venue to keep kids entertained, it may suffice, but expectations should be managed.

Let me begin with we made a reservation. When we arrived the host was very nice. The table wasn't ready which is okay that normal can happen, but we had two small children in our party and they sat us at a Hightop table where the highchair didn't reach. We waited ... ready... 2 1/2 hours for our food. We seen mutuiple family come eat and leave before out r drinks where even out. We asked to speak to a manager twice and she never came. Not only that but we purchased cards to play games after lunch which turned into dinner and they weren't working. The only reason I gave 1 star is because the burger i personally had was good. It takes a lot to mess up a burger . After we all finally got our food items took another 30 min to get refills and mayo! I didn't even bother to ask for ketchup. I just walked over the the bar area and took it from a different table. After eating it's took ..... 30 more min for the check, and when I received it , it was wrong. I asked what they were going to take off for the inconvenience. Now we were a party of 10 so this wasn't a small bill by any means. The server looked me and said "take off for what." I took a deep breath and said for waiting 3 hours to eat on top of everything else. Long story short they took the sodas off the bill . Never seen the manager and spent most of our time just waiting. Good thing we're all good company lol or it would have been such a boring and awkward time. My cousin went to the food court and at his food at our table that's how bad it was. The kids where so hungry. It was just a very bad experience. We made the best of it after and the games where fun. Highly don't suggest eating there unless you have no other plans for the day. But on a positive note it could have just been a bad day. I personally won't be eating there anytime soon. A few ppl felt sick after also.

My mom bought me shoes from this pro shop for Christmas that I needed to exchange. I called the pro shop employee on his cell phone and he let me come after work to exchange them. His name is Frank "Butch" Benhatzel. (I think he is currently 84.) He has run the pro shop for over 30 years. He has been inducted into the Buffalo Baseball Hall of Fame and the Greater Buffalo USBC (United States Bowling Congress) Hall of Fame. He found a great pair of bowling shoes for me and let me exchange them evenly with no additional cost. I came back about a week or two later when he had a great ball ready for me. He drilled it in front of me. I bought a bag too. Both items were priced very fairly. His shop is cash only because he recently had some issues with people and their credit cards. (I bought a ball and bag a few years ago for $5.00 from a garage sale. I gave Butch the items. He's going to give them to someone in need that he'll give bowling tips to.) It was all in all a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to come back and buy something else from him. I haven't bowled here in years but I'd like to come back here soon to bowl. They have screens/dividers up in between lanes because of the current coronavirus pandemic. An employee takes your temperature when you enter the building and you have to sign your name and the time you came in.
