Great service as always this morning. Oil change, tire rotation and a full check over.

Would rate it 0 if I could. I took my car to these guys for a very simple B58 catted downpipe install. They charged me around 600$, when I know(due to my vehicle's records) that they only worked on it for under 2 hours. After they installed it, I noticed a rattling sound coming from my car. I took it back and they said said it was the rear bushings were loose and were the issue. I asked the man in the front, directly to him, if my downpipe was completely fine, and he said it was perfect and nothing was wrong with it. I came back another time, trying to resolve the situation, and was met with the same type of dismissive attitude and response. (On another note, this issue had happened to me in the past with a poor install, which caused the exact same sound, which I had shared initially with them). I took it to another shop to find that the bolts were completely loose, and you guys did a terrible job. I had reached out to YOU(AMF) 3 different times asking to review the downpipe, and you guys blamed it on the bushings and said it was just a coincidence that the day after I gave you my car to work on, I now hear rattling sounds. You refused to own up to the mistake, when I would have been understanding if it were human error, instead of dealing with your lies. I am extremely frustrated and upset at you guys. I reached out, was nice and polite, and you still refused to accept any type of fault when all I asked was for you guys to fix the poor install you made. To anyone reading this, DO NOT COME HERE. Not only do you get overcharged, but most importantly, they make mistakes and refuse to accept them even if they know they are wrong. I am tired of trying to seek a resolution with you guys. If I don't hear anything from you guys in the next 5 days, you'll be hearing from my attorneys. read more

Literally the worst experience I ever encountered! I'm a 32 year old women and I have been driving since I was 17 .. I was headed from a work interview when I noticed a nail in my tire before it went flat. Upon arrival the men were rude from the start. Dennis the only African American man I seen who seemed to be puzzled after I told him the owner told me it would be a two hour wait before he could change my tire. I knew this was a lie. When the owner first seen me he noticed the color of my skin and wasn't to pleased to help me at all. He proceeded to come out to look at my tire and told me the tire was old.. I said ok. He said I can put the spare on if u even have one.. I said it's a new car I'm sure I have a spare .. he said well not all new cars have spares I said well mines does. Then the owner proceeded to say he may have a spare tire.. I asked how much he said $67 plus tax. I said ok give me a second let me call my fiancé . Once I got a hold of my fiancé I went back inside and asked to see the used tire.. the owner went to get the tire. I inspected the tire then said ok how much? The owner said $68 & change.. I then proceeded to say why is the price changing ? He then mumbled something & the other older Caucasian man that sits in the front with white hair and a bald spot said to me "WELL U ASKED FOR IT" After then the owner came back & said it will take 2 hours before I could get my tire changed. Mind you I'm a women but I know it would take 15 mins to put a tire on. The owner was very obnoxious and rude. Then I went outside to talk to the workers and one guys was agreeing with the owner when Dennis shook his head in disbelief. DONT GO HERE! They are very racist ! read more

Horrible, Service advisor Marcus did an inspection of my vehicle, because my uncle was driving the truck from Florida to Wisconsin for me. He called and said it was in good shape. This was bought on auction site, so I wanted to make sure it was safe. The truck broke down in Illinois. Brake pads, rotors, axle, and all four tires were shot. The tires showed the actual metal mesh of the tires. The did not do an inspection, lied about it, and then charged me. Very unprofessional. read more

The people here are incredible. I've come here ever since I found out about it from a friend and have not been disappointed. One time was for a broken rotor, couple of flat tires, oil changes, and just yesterday picked up my car after a broken brake sensor wouldn't allow my car to go past 40 MPH and left the brake lights on. Plus, I finally got around to fixing a strut that made a noise I was getting tired of hearing. Every time the diagnosis and repair was spot on. From what I've experienced and have seen, they try to do the right thing, don't take shortcuts, and I don't get an upsell. I'd highly recommend them for sure. read more

Frank and Steve are hands down the best. They have been doing this for over 30 years and are extremely knowledgable. I need 4 tires replaced on a high performance Mercedes coupe. The car was bought used and had the lowest quality tire for this car. They basically let me know that this was a horrible tire and wouldn't allow the car to run to it full potential. So they checked around and special order the high performance Michelins for our car. As Frank stated, it would run better than we could imagine. He was absolutely correct. It runs amazing and we are so happy. They were also cheaper than other places (just an fyi) We are so happy with AMF tire and would not go anywhere else. Great place, great owners, great work, all at a fair price. Frank, Steve, and the crew have been taking care of my cars for about the last 15 years. As a younger man, I used to do all my own maintenance. For the bigger things I couldn't handle, I was always looking for a good shop that wouldn't rip me off, or scare my wife into new shocks and ball joints when all she needed was an oil change (Hey, Goodyear and Firestone!). AMF Tire is now my ONLY shop, and they do a LOT more than tires. Alignments, oil changes, filters, belts, brakes, suspension, they've even fixed the air conditioning in 3 of my cars. I have said this before in other review forums, but I will not take any of my cars anywhere else for alignment, tire mounting, balancing, suspension work, etc. Fair prices, fast service, and good advice. I took my 1987 CRX Si to them to have tires mounted on new wheels, sway bar links replaced, and a full alignment. The car drives straight as an arrow, the steering wheel is perfectly centered (I'm a stickler for that!), and the clunking from the sway bars is gone! All done at a very fair price. The place gives you the feel goods which is not at all what I was expecting being a first time car owner for less than a year (moved down from NY). This was my very first car issue in life. I needed a tire patched, didn't realize I had wheel locks and when I saw what a wheel lock key looked like, realized I had thrown it out. Suffice it to say I'm a clueless nightmare and was worried that whoever I took this car to would be impatient and condescending. Frank and Steve and the nice lady on the phone could NOT have been nicer while I figured my shitake out. After a number of calls with them that would have caused even my mother to lose patience with me, they had given me all my options and in the end patched the tire, removed and replaced the wheel locks and returned the car in perfect condition with zero stress. Worst tire shop... went to get tires on my 2017 f350 platinum. spoke with a larger guy when I came in after being told they have the correct tires over the phone and that they would fit. They tried to take a deposit for the tires over the phone. Then when I come they said they can't put same tires on not sure if it is lack of experience or disrespect. The man was extremely rude and was not willing to do anything but say "I can't help you" Mainly cheap ricers here after talking to the mechanic and how disrespectful, inexperienced he was I would not use them. The first time I called person was very good second time very rude same day I came in and dealt with the disrespectful mat the shop. Update: I never said he took a deposit but he tried to I said I'll call back when I come by I guess a totally different guy than I talked to said the tires are to small... I got the tires installed at dales tires they are great. :) read more

They had every opportunity to charge me for something I didn't need, but the owner's integrity is thankfully more important than his wallet. I went in both times to have leaks fixed in my tires. They patched them for a very reasonable price when Arrigo Fiat told me one was not repairable. Arrigo wanted to charge me for a brand new tire and service which would have cost me $238.00. I have taken 2 cars here over the past two years for tires and service. I used Costco for years for tires since prices were great, but waiting for days for tires to come in, then waiting on hold to make sure they were actually in, and waiting for installation after waiting in line to get in the que, all of that waiting left me very waiting weary! However I found AMF and your call gets answered immediately, they give you a time, get it done and they know tires, installation and if the tire isn't in their shop they get it in 2 hours NOT 2 days! As far as service goes I have been satisfied with their diagnostics and their pricing. I am new to the area and I am sure there are other places to find decent service, but I stopped here and haven't regretted it. They have a nice waiting room and I have overheard many conversations with clientele on the phone and in person. These people are the real deal, upfront, personable, knowledgeable, and in all of this they give you a good service for honest work. I am glad I found this hidden gem. read more

I've been coming here for about a year. I brought in my 2010 Ford F150 for an oil change and coolant system flush. I also had a whining noise coming from the engine. I picked up the vehicle and was told the noise was a bad Power Steering pump. Frank said there was metal shavings in the fluid. I was given an estimate of $629 to repair and was told it would take five days to get the pump in. I declined service. I went home and looked in the fluid reservoir and couldn't see any metal shavings. I even tried to scrape the bottom with a stick and found nothing. I looked online and found that the noise is most likely coming from the idler pulley, not the pump. The pulley was $8.99 on Amazon. I ordered four pulleys, a belt and fluid for less than a hundred dollars. I replaced the pulleys and belt in under an hour. I started the truck and the noise was gone. I proceded to flush the Power Steering fluid. I found no metal shavings in the old fluid. I could understand misdiagnosing the noise, but not the presence of metal shavings in the fluid. When I called Frank he said would check with his mechanic. The mechanic said he put his finger in the reservoir, shined a light on it and saw the reflection of metal. Baloney. I still have the old fluid. On a previous visit I was charged $94 to replace a fuse and given a $729 estimate to replace the fuel pump. Eleven months later, it's still running fine. Makes me question the $1800 I spent here over the past year. read more
