Shortly after leaving this review I was contacted by the owner of Advanced Plumbing. I'm changing…read moremy review because of their amazing customer service and their dedication to their customers being happy. He explained to me how my service was guaranteed for a year and that they'd gladly come by to replace my toilet for the new one of purchased at no cost. They showed up on time, kept me updated throughout the day and finished the job quickly. Now I have a new functioning toilet so thank you! Re-update They misquoted me on the replacement of the 2nd toilet which I had them do at the same time as the other I had issues with. (told me it would be $120-130 and the other one was free of charge) and now charging me $248. Also the bathroom smells SO BAD now. It smells like sewer water.

Apart from that, they have absolutely no idea what they're doing and the owner , justin , has absolutely no idea how to run his company. They will have to come back five times to fix the same issue because they don't take enough time or care to fix it right the first time and they overcharge you crazy amounts!! WORST RAN COMPANY IVE EVER SEEN. All they care about is how much they can get out of you.. sad.

If you want high cost for sub quality work & slow turn around times due to a scheduling middle man,…read morethen go for it. They do not schedule enough time for you or other customers appts., which will result in yours being repeatedly delayed or cancelled & requiring additional appts. to complete your work - even if your projects are weather dependent. I specifically scheduled mine on a full dry week leaving plenty of time & they bumped my original appt. b/c the handyman ran a full day late on the appt. before mine, not allotting enough time for either parties work. Funny the owner is denying this b/c then I had to explain to their scheduler Misty you cannot stain a deck with pending rain... She originally wanted me to & I have records of every interaction w/ this company. My assigned handyman forgot several details & the largest ticket item I needed done, which was my deck staining, when he first came out to provide estimates. Therefore it was initially missing from my quote (only 6 items total) & took several days of follow up before I could even get the work scheduled. This is a pretty large oversight. 1 of these details was he either blatantly disregarded, or forget my request on how I wanted 2 custom sized roller shades outside mount installed on 2 of my windows (with the shade measurements being based off where I wanted the shades mounted). I clearly stated this when he came for the quotes. I even pulled the blinds out of the box to show him. He actually mounted them exactly how I said I did not want them mounted (directly into my slim wood trim which I could have done myself in 10 minutes & would not have been something I'd pay for), so I paid almost $170 (extremely overpriced) for something I was very clear I did not want. When I mentioned this they still only offered to discount the price; what I got was literally not what I asked for. I asked him about it after & it was obvious he didn't attempt to do the drywall mount like I requested based off his answer. I asked if he found a plate further back behind the drywall, or something that would have prevented using the drywall anchors like I requested during the initial quote & he had no answer... He simply did what was easier. I also had a front wood gate that was sagging significantly on 1 side (however both were sagged) that I said I needed repaired. He decided on a gate door kit to repair the gate. The next day I came out to see 1 of the doors was still hanging in the exact same position as before, where it was dragging on the driveway which required you to pick it up to open it. So one side was lifted up about 4-5 inches & working properly, but he decided it'd be acceptable to leave the other door visibly hanging crooked? It wasn't until I asked if he could correct the right side or do something to complete the repair that it was fixed ‍ I'm sorry, but why do I have to even ask for this? Then there's my deck... which was power washed & professionally cleaned for a coat of stain w/ a 1 coat Cabot deck stain I purchased. The handyman rolled the flats w/ a roller in lateral sections instead of the entire length of the boards (everyone knows this is not how you stain a deck)- of course resulting in huge sections of the deck drying at different times & leaving visible weird patches & overlapping marks all over the deck. This wouldn't even be the right application method if this was paint (which is obviously much more forgiving). This results in no stain applied b/w deck boards & leaves visible drip marks in b/w every single board of the deck - because YOU DO NOT ROLL A DECK. Rain proximity has nothing to do w/ not knowing how to stain a deck. The posts also have visible drips & overall just missed spots & sloppy work throughout. The only way to fix this is to literally power wash & re-stain the deck AGAIN. Sanding does not remove the banding. So you'll be required to fix the work with exceptionally more time, labor, & $$. It looks like a lot of people got someone good, but they're paying to be a sponsored result, & I would definitely hire at your own risk, since for me it was clearly not worth it.
