I ordered a personal sausage pizza, which is like a microwaveable Mama Celeste or Connie's pizza, but served at a restaurant. The crust is cracker thin, the sauce is very sweet, and the whole pie is just a little too greasy, and hard and soft in all the wrong places. Maybe I needed to order a larger pizza? Maybe the small size of the personal pizza is not the way to go? I also ordered a Caesar salad, which came with chunks of chicken that I did not order with my salad. OK! It also came with tomatoes and the dressing on the side, and at that point, it ceased to be a Caesar salad in my mind and was just a salad with chicken and tomatoes. Arni's is not my thing, but this place was poppin' during lunchtime on a weekday, so you know it's other people's thing. Maybe give it a try when you're in the Lafayette area.
