    Dental Partners of SW GA Americus Office…read more I went to this office because I was told they were very good and the staff was amazing. The dentist I had was Dr, Evans. He is a wonderful dentist and has great bedside manners. He did an amazing job on the teeth he worked on for me. Tiffany is an amazing hygienist and made you feel welcome and works wonderfully with you. I went and had my first appointment, and they went over a dental plan for my needs. I was given the price and was told I could take out a loan. I used Lending point which they did all of this in the office. I thought I was all set. After some of the work was done, I was told that the rest would have to come out of my pocket. The price they gave me did not cover all the work that needed to be done. I was not told this until after the loan was set in stone. Now the payment is pricey, and I agreed to it because I was under the impression it would take care of everything. They did not include everything, why is beyond me. In January of this year (2023) I went for my cleaning. When I was done the ladies at the front office told me I had to pay 70$. I asked why? My insurance covered 100% cleanings. I was told they don't know and they would get back with me. I sent them a break down of my insurance showing that the cleaning was covered. I heard nothing back. I called several times and was always told someone would call me, never happened. I was contacted on May 1, 2023 via text message saying I had an appointment. I called them and told them I do not have an appointment and that you could cancel it and again asked about the 70$ I was made to pay. The lady advised she would call back. The call back informed me that the money was returned and credited to my account with them. I asked why? That money should have been returned to me not placed on my account for yall. She said she would have someone else call me. I got another call from a different lady, this lady said that money was used for something else on my account. I said for what?? I have a loan that I paid for my stuff. She then said well if that 70$ came from lending point it has to be returned to them. I again for numerous times now said the money came from my pocket, not lending. She then told me lending over paid and was sending that money back to them in the amount of 600$. I was told once again someone would contact me. SO at the end of the day, I have unfinished work in my mouth because of their inability to price out the total for the work that needed to be done. I was made to pay something that was not on me to pay and I have gotten nothing but a run around ever since. January until May 3, 2023 I have been trying to get them to make this right. Very disappointed, dissatisfied with the office staff of the Americus Office. Half completed work due to them not adding everything in, taken for 70$ for a free cleaning

    I took my father to have emergency tooth removal. They took him same day. Asked for $150…read moreconsultation fee. After looking at it by doctor, the estimate was $1700. All the time in connotation, doctor was talking trash with assistant mitch joking around n all. That was rude as hell. we agree to do procedure and lady in front said they will Reverse file insurance and they will send us check for what they cover. The surgery went on. He was put back out in wheelchair. I was told to drive around to pick him up. After coming in I saw my dad in wheelchair with blood shot eyes. The lady told me surgery was ok and here is the care package and prescription for antibiotics. I said what about we had asked doctor to give prescription strength ibuprophen and no hydrocodone because he doesn't tolerate it well. Her dumb ass told me take 4 Motrin its same thing. I told her dumb ass, we want prescription written for 800mg ibuprophen. She said you have to wait doctor is in surgery, kept repeating its same this as 4 Motrin. I wanted to tell her dumb self I studied Pharmacology as major and learned from the best DR. Perry Buffington. (look him up for folks who don't know who he is). Individual 4 pills dissolves differently in your system than 1 800mg pill. When in pain like my father was it was needed. I could have told her that than but didn't want to get ugly. While we waiting doctor popped back passing by hallway and said we left chip in process to take out tooth, Did they tell you? I told him NO she didn't tell me. Dr. said your father had start feeling pain so he couldn't kept digging to get chip out. I was furious then. Let me tell you they charged for two doses of anesthesia in bill, but the patient was not put to sleep or numbed enough to last whole procedure. The time it took them to take out tooth and according to his body weight and the charges on the bill the patient should have not felt any pain during procedure for the time frame it took. He has taken anesthesia before so its not that this time the reaction was just first time. This people are nothing but scammers. They charged us for two doses and just administer one and if that. My father was in pain worse than he came in with. i have to ask for Ice pack. I was told by lady there was one in bag. My question is why u didn't put one to his chic. The assistant finally got prescription printed for me to take with us. we made home and went to pharmacy to pick prescription, but pharmacy won't fill it, but it interacts with his other meds. I called the line for nurse which was Mitchell of course because it was 6:30pm. My pharmacy closes at 7:00. He never called before they close. I waited over their time for get it called in. I called back He said the patient will be alright till tomorrow with his zero knowledge to what to change the antibiotics to. That shows no care for patient who spent almost 2000 dollars at your clinic. Never called back to check on him or nothing. the prescription was called in next day. After two months never received check from insurance company. I called back lady in billing first said no insurance was scanned in. then found the scanned card and said we don't file with your insurance company at all. I told her I wish the lady in reception would have told me that. Her answer was the girls in front are not insurance knowledgeable.

The nurse was very snappy when telling me that my daughter was ready. I tried to talk to her to explain where I was, and she cut me off saying your daughter will be outside, then she hung up. Rude! I know when patients are put to sleep, you can't leave. My daughter wasn't put to sleep, and not one person mentioned I couldn't leave the premises. We were there from 7:50 A.M. until 11:45 A.M. before I decided to take my four year old to grab some food.

I took off 2 hours of work, drove all the way across town, walked in 15 minutes prior to my appt to be told it was given to someone else. Did I get a cancelation text or email? No.

    0 stars if I could…read more The customer service here is terrible. Alex was very insincere and never returned my calls when I tried to escalate our concerns. I told Dr. Jessica L. Montgomery, DMD that we would no longer be using their office due to the poor dental work done on my mother. Instead of taking accountability, they responded by dismissing her from the practice, which felt like an attempt to avoid fixing their mistakes. My mom spent over 9k on dental work and her teeth look exactly the same as before. We were called back several times for "rework," yet Dr. Montgomery rarely even worked on her mouth and mostly left everything to the assistants. At the beginning, they offered my mom "free fillings" because we were dissatisfied with the service. Later we found out the dentist was already offering a free dental day, so that didn't feel like a genuine effort to make things right. On our final visit, Alex was nowhere to be found until I specifically asked for him because I wanted to express our concerns and give them one last chance to make things right. When he finally appeared, he gave a lame excuse saying he had been speaking with the dentist. He never made any real effort to resolve the situation or stand behind the work that was done. It honestly felt like Alex didn't like that I spoke up on my mom's behalf. His behavior was extremely unprofessional and a complete disgrace for someone who is supposed to represent Byron Dental. After spending over $9,000 and going back multiple times, we left with the same results and no real accountability from the office. 0/10. I do not recommend this office to anyone. I hate that my mom had to go through this experience, and I would strongly suggest others think twice before trusting them with their dental care.
