First, I got someone on the phone ..no answering service or answering machine. Second, I was able to make a same day appointment. We arrived when we were told to arrive, which was 30 minutes early in order to fill out some paperwork. I think our appointment was delayed due to a late show, but it was not a bother to me since I used to be that way when my life was overscheduled and now it was not. The doctor was very professional, detail oriented, and trustworthy. The staff was very personable. I would highly recommend this office and plan on coming back.

The staff is friendly and helpful, everything was explained adequately. The cost of the procedure was surprisingly low. My only complaint is that an appointment scheduled for a particular time may last for hours, much of the time sitting in the waiting room. I understand that medical procedures can't be precisely scheduled, but there ought to be a way to cut down on the wait time. That said, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Moore and his colleagues to anyone.

Here with my dad for his 1:45 appointment. Arrived 10 min early to complete paperwork…read more We were greeted by all the front desk staff. That was very nice and unexpected for all to greet us. We waited roughly 15 to 20 min before he was called back. Dr. Chew was very nice, knowledgeable, patient, and attentive to my father's concerns. He was diagnosed with cataracts a couple of years ago so this is a follow up visit on the next step. The sitting area is clean and spacious. Considering Covid is still strong in the country , signs are posted to wear a mask and you can only be accompanied by 1 relative. The seating arrangements are spaced between each chair. There were 10 patients sitting on our arrival. From what I observed they move pretty quickly on getting you registered and seen by the doctor. The location is easy to find. It sits on the corner (right side) you can't miss it. It is a 1 way street .... Dr Chew has 3 offices - Americus, Montezuma, and Leesburg. If you're in the area, check them out. They have a large selection of glasses and shades.

And wow - 10 min later, I was already headed back to my room in Downtown Americus, to continue my work mission here - and able to do so with repaired glasses -- all done at no charge. What? Wow! They offer the Optomap so you won't have to get the old dilation procedure. Both Dr McElroy and Dr Nguyen are superb at what they do, they let you know up front that YOUR vision is THEIR priority. They go the extra mile and provide their home phone numbers in case of emergency. They don't want their patients to wIt when they are having eye problems. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. If you are looking for a new set of glasses they offer a wide variety of frames and are helpful so you choose the best pair.
