They filed claims with my insurance company again and again over the course…read moreof 3 months and after 3 appointments and over $1100 dollars worth of work that I thought would be covered by insurance they finally decided to investigate why they were not being paid and found out that my insurance didn't work with their practice. I got a call that said you have to pay full price since we kept scheduling appointments with you instead of making sure the insurance would cover the work being done. The fillings I had all were poor quality and made my teeth extremely sensitive and when I went in for them to look at the issues caused by the fillings they told me I had sensitive teeth (telling me I had sensitive teeth cost $79) and they applied a protective coating for another $78 which came off before I made it home. Each estimate that I got was low and I had to pay more than expected and they seemed very confused about why these numbers were off and how the billing process works. Not very professional but at least they all had smiles on their face while I was getting scammed. At this point all I can do is share my experience with you and hope that you don't make the same mistake I did by choosing Americus Dental.

The times I have not used Dr. Ford were because I was out of state. I have actually driven from FL and paid out of pocket to use this dentist. He has NEVER been in a "bad mood" when I have been there, never rushed an exam or procedure, and I have never waited. It is so hard to find a good dentist and if you are looking for one this is the office you need to go to. His office staff will even "work you in" if you have any urgent needs. She will take 30 minutes with you if she has to. She explains everything in detail and does not rush at all. Dr March did such a great job on my deviated septum and terminate reduction. After using nose spray for the past 48 years I am now free from this addictive drug. No mounds of gauze stuffed up my nose like so many other doctors would do. Dr. March uses her skills to cauterize each blood vessel to stop the bleeding. She is not sloppy and extremely knowledgeable in her field of practice. She told me my recover would be 3 to 4 weeks. At just 2 weeks into recovery I can breath better through my nose than I ever could. I can't imagine it getting any better than this.

We waited roughly 15 to 20 min before he was called back. Dr. Chew was very nice, knowledgeable, patient, and attentive to my father's concerns. He was diagnosed with cataracts a couple of years ago so this is a follow up visit on the next step. The sitting area is clean and spacious. Considering Covid is still strong in the country , signs are posted to wear a mask and you can only be accompanied by 1 relative. The seating arrangements are spaced between each chair. There were 10 patients sitting on our arrival. From what I observed they move pretty quickly on getting you registered and seen by the doctor. The location is easy to find. It sits on the corner (right side) you can't miss it. It is a 1 way street .... Dr Chew has 3 offices - Americus, Montezuma, and Leesburg. If you're in the area, check them out. They have a large selection of glasses and shades.
