I brought my 2015 VW Beetle R-Line for a repair to the drivers seat. A tear in the seam and leather was causing the seat to unravel and it looked really bad. This shop is amazing. The seat bolstering on my driver's seat (Toyota RAV4) was too firm. It left me feeling sandwiched into my seat with pressure on my upper legs and butt. It made driving uncomfortable after 15 minutes or so. So I went to Manny to see if American Upholstery could level out the padding in the driver's seat. Manny assured me they could - he has some of the best people working for him and dealerships who bring him work - so I felt like I was in the right hands. I am so happy I found this place. I have a MK6 GTI that ended up with a drooping headliner. I purchased the OEM replacement fabric online intending to replace it myself, but I had second thoughts after seeing the effort involved. I found American upholstery after researching some places in the area, and Manny immediately provided me with a quote over the phone. I dropped my car off in the morning and had it back by the afternoon the next day. When I dropped my car off, they also informed me of a special they had going on for a detailed interior and exterior cleaning. My car desperately needed it, so I had them perform that as well. They did a great job installing the headliner; It looks brand new. The detail cleaning was also EXCEPTIONALLY done. They did everything...vacuuming all the carpets, to wiping every single surface down, engine bay steam cleaning, polishing the calipers and rims, wax....my car has not looked this good in YEARS. There was great communication throughout the experience, everybody was very nice, and they absolutely delivered on all of the work that I needed done. To top it off, I think I paid a very fair price, especially in researching the cost of this job from the dealer and some other shops. I had previously taken two cars to them to have old/cracking driver armrest leather replaced. In the case of one of the vehicles, it was installing leather for the first time. I've been very pleased with that work and how it's persisted since the installation. Today, I dropped by because I had some paint from a house project that had been in the passenger seat. I came by this place from a friend's referral, I pulled into the drive and was greeted there by Manny, he was patient as I quickly gave him the overview of items I looked to get fixed and he assured me that they could easily take care of them. I had my Jeep seats done! I went from cloth to Leather and from the second I walked into his business the Owner Manny took great care of me. The leather seats make my Jeep look Brand new. He text me all day explaining and asking me what I wanted done. He also Detailed my Jeep very cheap and for the job that was done I would of paid a couple hundred dollars more just for the Detail. I had dog stuck in my carpet in the back for over a year. Remember you get what you pay for. I couldn't of dreamed a nicer job with my whole car. They even steam cleaned the engine. Manny and his team did a great job on the interior for my Bronco. Getting an upholstery shop to give me a quote for my project was tough because I am restoring my own car, I am only giving the shop seat frames, door panels and quarter panels and a dash that was already removed. I needed a shop that could do all this work and then hand me back my interior. As such, there was no vehicle to drive over and have them look at and give a quote. Just interior pieces already pulled out torn down. Most shops wanted me to jump through a ton of hoops to just get a quote, or when I called gave me stock responses and offered me their less than genuine "I know what you want for your interior" and would cut me off when I tried to share what I was looking for. Manny spent a ton of time with me on the phone, sent me a ton of texts with sample images and then sent me physical samples to my house. Then when he ultimately got all of my interior pieces he would mock up sections and send pictures for approval. He used top notch materials and did an amazing job on every piece he did. He followed the overall aesthetic I was looking for and where appropriate added in touches he felt would help keep that look consistent throughout the vehicle. While he did the project he would text me update pictures to share the progress and ask for feedback for the next steps. He was always checking in to see if I liked how it looked. The reviews are all true! I Love what they did for my car! The drivers seat of my Volvo seams started to separate. I really appreciate the knowledge Manny and his brother have for upholstery. Manny suggested that he might be able to pull the leather a little tighter to fix some of the scratches that where there. I have included before and after shots. I needed the water damaged headliner replaced in my 2004 Chevy Tahoe, so I contacted Manny to make an appointment. I was told the job should be done in 1 day, but it actually ended up taking longer than expected and my vehicle was kept overnight. This was not an issue because I knew it was a big job, but no one notified me that I would not get it back until the next day. I only found out by driving by the business only to discover they were already closed for the day. When I picked up my vehicle the headliner looked amazing and I was very satisfied. Manny's crew was even able to repair my sun visors.
