The TransBay bus and its hub (Salesforce Transit Center) is the best way for me to get around San Francisco, although I really love driving in the city... just not with the current state of traffic and overcrowding. I like the Caltrain but I like this bus line a little better. It's been a long long time since I first came to the San Francisco Greyhound bus station and the memory haunts me still. There was a huge Skyway across the road with the Greyhound sign on it, which always told me I was here. Definitely the memories are haunting and distant, and for a long time after coming many times in my early years, I was always hoping that it would still look like it did in my mind. These days it is the Transbay Transit Center, which has now been renamed the Salesforce Transit Center. It's a massive and amazing and modern building and has taken over from the Greyhound building that I came to and used so many times. It's a good memory for me and I guess that's all that it will ever be. It's been a long long time now since I saw that original building on the street corner, and the new Transit Center is magnificent and currently mainly serves the Greyhound station. Transbay looks modern and space-age and curvaceous and white. And it's definitely quite different to anything you would imagine. There's even an aerial tram and a roof top park. I mean you can't expect much more than that. It's massive and very long, taking up several city blocks, and a wave of the future. There is criticism for the naming rights, but most people actually really love it. They also have a Package Express service here. Barbie likes me to use my package to express myself, so here goes. He patiently went over all the details and I was able to put my deposit on it and have it scheduled for pick up he informed me to call at a closer date near pick up date and to schedule a pick up time, I really appreciate it common courtesy and professionalism. I've been business owner myself since 1997. I thought to myself ,I had more employees like this. I probably wouldn't have had to work so hard all these years! I would like to say that how much I appreciate it, to have him help me with my RV rental. He helped me so much, to assure a good experience with my RV rental. We rented the standard size and it was not that hard to drive. Having own bathroom and shower is so relaxing and eliminates worry of finding hotel or restroom. The refrigerator kept our food/ice cream/ drinks cold whole time and hardly used much propane. We dumped our black and gray tanks in the rwc Rv park for $25 and then filled up gas before returning the Rv. Will do it again soon as the Rv experience is a lot of fun. The radio now has Bluetooth so you can play music from your iphone easy while it charges on the drive - nice.

Our Athletic Director stepped in and showed him the contract to which he yelled even louder no food. So we called his dispatcher. The dispatcher informed him he had to take the kids to grab food. He swore at his dispatcher and proceeded to cuss at us say he was not going too. With the out high school girls wItnessing all this. The argument continued again with his dispatcher giving him the okay bc he was 1) not passed his driving hours & 2) it's in the contract. He yelled even louder and got combative so fit the safety of our kids we said just let him drive us back to half moon bay...3 hour drive. HELLO, WINE COUNTRY…read more The Les Faneurs French group of South San Francisco recently organized their annual trip to Wine Country. Two Peninsula Tour buses were used: one picked up members at the Basque Cultural Center in South SF and the other met us at a Park and Ride lot in San Rafael. We had spent the night with my in-laws in Petaluma so the San Rafael pick-up was perfect. We were there 20 minutes early and while the bus was not a minute early, it was on time. We found seats in the back - it had made another local stop before ours so it was half-full before arriving. The bus was clean, though, I thought the material of the seats was a little rough. The air-conditioning worked great which was really important because it was a very hot day. Fans above the seat allow personal control of how much air blows on you. I want to say there were a hundred people total on both buses but I feel like it was more than 50 people per bus. Regardless, the drivers did a great job with our large group. We were first headed to the Domaine Carneros Winery in Napa and cringed when the driver took 37, since it was NASCAR weekend, but Saturday is only for qualifying and less popular races, so we got lucky with light traffic. After Napa, the drivers maneuvered the large buses up the windy road to Meadowood in St. Helena. Our personal items were left on the bus in between stops and everything was safe and accounted for. The drivers drove safely. They moved slowly in and out of parking lots and left safe distances between them and other cars. I felt confident we were in good hands and really enjoyed the entire day - especially since I didn't have to do any driving after indulging in wine.
