We had minimal success with previous training techniques, because he is smart enough to perform really well when treats were involved, but didn't want to listen in the absence of treats. Cheryl worked with him for 4-5 months and has turned him into a much better behaved version of himself. Zoe started with her as a pup and now at 7yrs old she's very well behaved. Doesn't like other dogs but knows her place when she acts out & she does at times. But it's probably me that's the problem. Ollie successfully "graduated" from the Wonder Dog training school program. The intensive nature of this program really helped teach all of the skills and commands, and Ollie, our "little" foodie, LOVED the treats he earned while learning these things. I think the hardest part of training a dog is the follow up and continuation of training by the people who interact with the dog on a daily basis (us!). We do our best to continue working with Ollie in our daily lives, but have found the invaluable addition of continuing reinforcement of his training through the Stay and Play program at Training Tracks. He attends twice a week and has an absolute blast playing with his friends and reinforcing his training. He loves "school" days, the staff, and we have made several friends thanks to our dogs becoming besties at school. I can't recommend Training Tracks more. The staff love and treat your dog as their own, and teach skills to help your pup be successful in their daily interactions.

Our dog went to Training Tracks total immersion boarding program twice (initially and then again…read morewhen the owner realized the first experience failed) and still cannot walk on a leash or greet people politely (our two main goals). He is not an aggressive or anxious dog -- just a lively and energetic pup. We reached out to our trainer and to the business owner many times for additional support and guidance (the immersion program supposedly comes with lifetime support). They have been difficult to schedule with (sometimes taking months to get on their calendar) and often don't respond to our communications unless prompted many times (even though their contract states they will respond in 24 hours). When we could get a hold of them, the guidance they offered was not always particularly useful (i.e. just don't let your dog meet anyone ever - this suggestion came from the owner). We have tried to work this out privately with the business owner, Jeff, and he blames us for not communicating, reaching out, or following up with training, which couldn't be further from the truth. I have text and email records that prove we've been engaged and have consistently asked for the support we were promised/paid for. In the end, Jeff has tried to gaslight me and eventually called me aggressive for assertively asking for the training I paid for or for a refund so I can get my dog the training he needs and deserves. I would not recommend Training Tracks. Not only because their training skills are questionable, but because the owner is dishonest and unprofessional.

He pushed every boundary imaginable. His energy was out of control, jumping on everyone, unable to be around people or other dogs, and even knocking elderly people over. It was overwhelming and stressful, and we truly didn't know what to do. Then Doug came in, and in just two sessions, everything changed. He helped correct TJ's behavior, but more importantly, he taught us how to be better leaders. He showed us how to properly correct bad behavior while still loving our dog. What meant the most to me was how seen and understood I felt. Doug didn't make me feel like a bad dog parent for struggling or for not instantly feeling that perfect bond after adopting TJ. He understood. He helped me realize that TJ is a good boy who wants structure, leadership, and a pack to belong to. Doug gave us the tools, the confidence, and the consistency we needed, and the results have been incredible. When I say TJ is better, that is an understatement. We can now have people in our home without worrying. He greets guests without jumping all over them or scratching them. We no longer have to put him away when people come over. He is calmer, more respectful, and honestly happier. He is not stealing food off plates or biting hands for snacks anymore. He comes back inside without trying to go after other dogs at the fence. Our entire home feels more peaceful. Even our 2-year-old son interacts more gently with TJ now, because TJ is respecting boundaries in a way he never did before. Most importantly, TJ now has a permanent, loving home, and that is because of Doug. I was genuinely worried about my elderly grandma getting hurt before, and now I feel confident that TJ will be calm and respectful around her. That peace of mind is priceless. Doug is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and effective. He does not just train your dog, he equips you with everything you need to continue that progress long-term. Judy is wonderful ! She has been looking after our pup for about 2 years and is extremely reliable!…read more Judy keeps you up to date on the status of all walks with cute pictures and texts. She also has helpful tips on caring for your pup! Cow( our border collie mix) is always in good spirits after being with Judy and excited when we see her out around town. Today we had a last minute emergency where Cow was sick, and Judy was at our apartment within 20 minutes to make sure she was ok, and bring her for an extra walk. Dr Fouts is knowledgeable and caring with my pets. I have been through some very rough times with them such as a difficult euthanasia and a pet with a chronic illness and they have made the experience wonderful. The front desk staff are rockstars and know me by name when I come in. They are friendly and engaging. I have interacted with Dr Hopping, although she has not seen my animals, and she seems great as well. The hospital is beautiful and clean. If I need a medication or food they look into ordering it for me. Their prices are reasonable. My pets actually enjoy coming here, as do I. Calls and lab results are returned promptly and appointments are easy to obtain. They do some neat adoption events and open houses through out the year, so keep an eye out for those. I really could go on and on, but you have to see for yourself. If you want the best care for your pet, this is your place!
