Didn't give off the Mario vibe. I asked one of the workers to scream "Itsa me, Mario" and he told me to get lost. Nothing like the game.

When drain was scoped broken pipe and trench rot found. They scoped cleanout outside house to city line and found 2 areas of pipe broken from roots and 2 broken w/o roots and areas of trench rot. Estimate for new inside (blocked by wall) and outside clean-out (not 2 way), and new pipe blown to city line was $29,800. I wrote check for 1/2 and financed 1/2. Next day I was presented bills for $4300 for inside work and $7200 for outside work. When I spoke to supervisor he put in new financing for entire $29K even though $15K check cleared my account. Work was completed inside and trench was dug. Even though rain was coming in I had to use my own tarps to cover trench with help from inside tech. The pipe was blown next day and inside work completed. I was given bill for $4300 for inside work and had to pay on credit card. The other $7k was going to be put for financing again. Still not sure if money paid was correct. They did not apply military discount when asked and was only going to put it on one invoice instead of the 3 they had for this job. However, they finally did. Trench was filled in poorly-about 5 inches not filled in from pipe to house and large mound of dirt left with my edging stones stacked neatly to side. The pipe sticks up about 9 inches from ground once I level out dirt myself and is in middle of flower bed not near house so it looks terrible. A hole was put in the wall on inside house which left of cleanout usable. I requested documentation for inside and outside. I have insurance policy for inside and outside. The invoice for trench and sewer pipe do not include any reason why work was needed so cant file for reimbursement of $7k. Requests for pictures or updated invoice ignored and calls not being returned. I wonder if work was necessary and feel cheated out of $26,000.

If you want to hear about a professional, efficient, and honest small business, read on. I had a…read moreclogged sewer line. Several plumbers tried diagnosing the problem but none really had a good solution- snake augurs and sewer cameras were parading through my home. It ultimately was determined that I needed to replace the sewer line. I got quotes from the 3 or 4 plumbers I saw, and also called Getz. I'm glad I did. Justin and his crew were professional, communicative, capable, and they bid significantly lower than everyone else. I had a higher degree of confidence in them not only because they're building a new business and need to make a name for themselves, but also because they're knowledgeable and don't use the same corporate sales tactics to pay someone large commissions when they think they have me by the balls. These guys were honest, they didn't try to upsell me, and they saved me money by telling me some of the services others recommended were not appropriate or useful for my case. I agreed to their price, and scheduled the work. They arrived in a blizzard. Literally. They were on time and working through weather that shut down most of the city, and I can't articulate how grateful I am for that after crapping in a bucket for two weeks. They did what they promised to do, and even showed up after the job was done to correct some misplaced dirt that couldn't be seen because of the snow. They were awesome, and I can't recommend them enough, If I could give them more stars I absolutely would. If you're having sewer line problems in Cincinnati or its environs, these are the guys you want.

I don't write a lot of reviews so this one means a ton…read more Hands down, one of the best service companies I've called. I had a very unique situation with a 1 year old dishwasher that was building up what I call a 'bio funk' inside the whole machine. This wasn't a cheap dishwasher either. I'd previously called the dishwasher warranty company who said 'it's a water issue, good luck and call a plumber'. So I did. While describing the issue to the front desk receptionist, she not only was very knowledgeable walking me through ideas but spent the better part of 30 minutes answering my questions. After scheduling a service call, the OWNER called me. The receptionist took my 'bio funk' problem to the top. The owner called me to recommend NOT scheduling a service call and provided me with 'solves' as she had seen this in the past. She did not want me to spend money already knowing the problem was not water related. What owner of a business does that!!! I scheduled the service call anyway, no issues there. I wanted 'peace of mind' when calling the warranty company back. The crew that came out was great, professional and honestly, surprised me on how long they spend throughly checking water supply, heater, connections, back flow, etc. Net, net...it wasn't a water issue! Several parts in the dishwasher malfunctioned and the warranty company ended up coming back and replacing the majority of the interior parts. I appreciate the honesty of a company and the personal attention of the staff. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend.

The one visit a plumber showed up with a snake, it was old, rusted out and didn't work. Thats the last I saw or heard from him. Now, after the last no show today, I was advised to make another appointment or call a plumber and Bassett would pay for the visit. So, I wasted 3 vacation days waiting at home for a plumber and now I'll have to take another day off with the new plumber. I strongly advise anyone considering to hire this company for any plumbing service to avoid them at all costs. Zero stars was not offered as an option.

Pay Full Price, Get a Partial Fix -- Repeat as Needed…read more This company managed to turn a straightforward plumbing leak into an expensive lesson in what happens when accountability is optional. We initially called them for a leak and were charged $769.39 just to assess the issue, followed by $7,098 for new pipes. Shortly after this "repair," the leak returned. When we called them back, they charged another $899, only to then tell us the problem was allegedly where our pipes connect to the county's system--work they are not licensed to perform. The county came out three separate times and confirmed the issue was not on their end. We then hired a second contractor, who immediately identified the real problem: the original job was simply not completed. He also stated--without hesitation--that he would be shocked if this company refunded even a dollar. When we asked why they would bid on a job they were not licensed to fully complete, their answer was astonishingly casual: they "didn't think it would be an issue." According to them, they fulfilled the contract because they "fixed the leak they could see." That explanation alone should alarm any potential customer. I later spoke with a supervisor who repeatedly deflected responsibility by asking, "How were we supposed to anticipate what we couldn't see?" That is not a defense--it is an admission. As a consumer, I do not hire a professional to fix only the visible portion of a problem. I hire them to fix the problem. No solutions were offered. No accountability was taken. Only excuses and a clear attempt to redefine failure as acceptable performance. Be warned: this company appears to complete just enough of a job to justify billing, then treats the remaining work as a series of costly "separate issues." You will be left paying thousands while being told no one is at fault. This was an expensive lesson learned the hard way. Save yourself the frustration, the time, and the money.
