I am impressed! The service was friendly and the food is really good! I had the Philly Cheesesteak and fries. Everything is made fresh. The crinkle cut fries were hot -- needed salt but they provide that at the counter. I appreciate salting my own food. Now...the Philly Cheesesteak is amazing! I love this place. The Korean ladies are so kind and my favorite place to take my kids. We love their wings and hibachi. Here at least once a week, we tried their new items shrimp and crawfish. This was well made, the Cajun seasoning has a Cajun bayou flavor. If you are not for a bayou feel, well... They have other flavors too. Garlic is always safe with seafood. It is butter based so be careful if you have allergies or don't like butter. The crawfish was not tough or rubbery. On the contrary, it was tender and still kept the subtle sweetness of the seafood. The crawfish was also large, as was the shrimp. I usually get the hot wings, double cooked, but this was a pleasant change that may become my new favorite. The kindness of my favorite lady, the cleanliness of the restaurant, and the fact my kids enjoy it make this my happy place. Not impressed with this spot. Went here on a Friday night and they were a little busy but nothing outrageous. I had a Philly cheesesteak and wings. They have mild lemon pepper and honey lemon pepper but for some reason could not manage to make me mild honey lemon pepper. Flavor was lacking overall. Fries were meh, philly was majority peppers and cheese...I had to search for the meat. My mom loves this place but I probably would not return. Customer service was about a 3 on a scale of 1-5 as well. I suppose I have a wider selection of wing spots in the Atlanta area so my expectations are just a tad bit different. read more

Even tough it is called American Philly & Wings, the owners are either Japanese or Korean as I sometimes hear them talking to each other in that language They have a diverse selection of food with philly sandwiches, wings with fries, fried rice, hibachi chicken/beef/etc. over rice, and teriyaki chicken/beef/etc. over rice. I usually order the chicken fried rice as they give you a huge portion and the price is $6.95 including drink. I sometimes order the teriyaki chicken and hibachi chicken which are tasty and reasonably priced. The Philly steak is good as well. I'm not big fan of their wings. This is one of the hidden values in this town. I ate here for the first time a few weeks ago, and was actually surprised by the choices they offer. The 10 wings combo price is the best I've found in middle Georgia, and the wings, while smallish, were very good. I've only tried the "hot" flavor so far (twice) but intend to try other flavors in the future. I've also tried the chicken habachi combo special, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The habachi serving size is large enough for two meals for me, which makes it a super buy! The service is not exceptional, but I don't go there to visit anyway. I have only been to this restaurant a handful of times, the most recent time with my parents and my girlfriend. The food has been good quality every time, and they offer large portions for the price. The interior is full of live plants and nice granite counter tops. The reason for the two star review, however, is because of the service. The woman who was working the counter, who I assume to be either the manager or owner, was incredibly rude. Whenever I asked her a question about one of their many combos, I was met with an attitude and was treated as though I was pestering her. I blew it off as maybe she was having a bad day, and walked away to grab my drink while my parents ordered and payed for everyone. After we finished placing our order our food was out fairly fast and they called our ticket number to come grab the food. I went to the counter to bring it to the table and once there, I looked through my box and realized that there was no ranch in the box for my wings (I got the Philly and wing combo). I went back to the counter and politely told the same woman who took my order that there was no ranch in the box, and that I would like one for my wings. Instead of apologizing and giving me a ranch, she started to question me and accused me of wanting extra, and asked for 50 cents to pay for the ranch that I did not receive. So I went and grabbed my box - which I hadn't even touched except for opening to check it - up to the counter to show her that there was no ranch in there. She then, without even acknowledging me, called the worker from the back I assume (I'm unsure because it was not in English) to ask if they put the ranch in the box. I saw them nod, and then the woman finally turns to me and tells me that they did put it in there. I showed her again, and she very hesitantly gives me the ranch that was never there in the first place, and still did not apologize, and said nothing to me. My family and I finished our food, and they too said that she had been rude to them while they ordered, being short and pestered by our questions. While I understand that this person is in business to make money, the way that I was treated when I had a legitimate issue was unacceptable. Even if it was as small as one ranch cup. I felt as though I was being treated like a thief instead of a customer and her demeanor throughout our entire experience was unfriendly and cold as well. This restaurant could very well have received 5 stars from me, but from the service I was confronted with, it is very unlikely that I will return. read more
