He also did not give us good product advice. We have a narrow stairway with two tight turns. We had asked about the Bruno Elite just because it was the one we tried out at the Union City showroom and liked. The salesman, Pablo, kept commenting on how tight our stairs would be "but it'll work." After installation, we found there is a more compact unit better suited to narrower stairs. He should have told us that and offered it as an option. So now we have a stairlift that is bigger and clunkier than we would have liked. After we approved the drawings and made a hefty progress payment, no word from Pablo on installation schedule. The date on our contract came and went. I emailed him twice and called. I finally texted him and got a short response just telling me to call the installation department. Several phone calls later they finally got back to me. They told me Pablo had been let go. Well no wonder, but that didn't do me any good. After installation, which was about a month later than we were told, I contacted them about coming out for a small adjustment. I was told multiple times that they'd get right back to me with some date options. I still don't have those. The GM also took more than two weeks (and two inquiries from me) to deposit our final check, which was inconvenient for us. I'd like to love my stairlift, and I'd like to love this company, but they have fallen short, which worries me about the future with them.

Our health care provider gave us a list so I hopped on Yelp and took a look at some reviews. This one had such a high rating I had to read through the other reviews to be sure, but this was our first choice and we got it! This is not what I am used to in larger healthcare settings, but I am so glad that they aren't some super excessively large entity because the personal service we received was out of this world! Literally could not have asked for anything better in caring for our family. It started with our provider reaching out to their offices, shortly after that calls started coming in to deliver the bed and supplies (they use Hospice Source for equipment delivery - will pen another review for them specifically). Once we figured out what they do and don't provide we hopped on Amazon for anything else we didn't already have so we could be thoroughly prepared for our loved ones care. Intake Nurse was at our home shortly after our family member came home from the hospital. They hand you and informational booklet (handy way to keep everything organized and sorted) with homework assignments already inside for the funeral arrangements, general definitions, even a spot to write your entire care teams name and number so everyone in the home has access, etc. We even received a blue card to place on the fridge for contact information for our care team! Our private team was 2 nurses, an aide, social worker, chaplain and even a couple on-call/after hours nurses as needed too. Every one of these staff members we were assigned were absolutely phenomenal! Supreme service all around, if I had my own company I would extend each and every person that came in a job offer. They were THAT good. Hospice work is very tough to continuously be with people at often their lowest point or right before they pass away. With all the heightened emotions of the patient, family and their own personal lives.. you can imagine this is often a thankless job. We expressed our gratitude thoroughly to every one of our staff and I am writing this review to tell anyone reading to have some patience, compassion, and grace. THANK YOU Advanced Home Health & Hospice. No offense, but I hope I never need you again. If I do, you will be the first team I call or recommend to anyone in your service area.
