We recently renovated our kitchen with KDO Kitchens & Remodeling. We've done home renovations…read morebefore, and they're honestly the best contractor we've ever worked with. What really stood out was their efficiency. They finished the project much faster than we expected and kept everything moving smoothly while still delivering great quality. Dee and Koral also take real ownership of their work. They stand behind what they do and don't disappear after the project finishes, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. They were always available, helped us with the design, product selection, and purchases, and made the whole process much easier. Their entire team is professional, responsive, and easy to communicate with. The experience was smooth from start to finish. We're already planning a bathroom renovation and will definitely work with KDO again.

We were very unhappy with both the process and the results of our two-bathroom renovation. No…read moresupervisor was present to coordinate the crew or oversee the work, so we came home to find mistakes daily: they installed the wrong bead board, reinstalled the old medicine cabinet rather than the new one, didn't measure for wall switches, painted the windows shut, re-installed a clearly broken electrical outlet and didn't bother to sand, leaving rough edges as trim. Aside from the mistakes, the lack of supervision meant crews operated at unpredictable times without notice (nights, weekends) and were very disrespectful of our home. They used our bed as a staging area for drywall, stored hardware on our glass picture frames and used an electric saw on our couch to cut tile. They left a mess inside every day and piles of trash outside every evening. Despite repeated requests to clean up the construction debris, no one would pick it up and we had to take it to the landfill ourselves. Each crew blamed the other for the problems so I had to contact each crew to find out how to fix the other's problems. I wondered why we even hired a contractor if we had to do this ourselves. The bright spot was Taylor the plumber, who was prompt, friendly and detail-oriented. Otherwise, we were disappointed start to finish.

I was extremely disappointed with Alex and Trimelogic. My small cottage remodel began in the end of…read moreAugust 2025 and was due to be finished in 4 to 6 weeks. By the end of March 2026, it had not been completed, and I fired Alex and his crew and got another group to finish the work. Much of what was done on my screened-in porch had to be removed or corrected. None of the supporting post were plumb, overhead supports were not level, and the sanded plywood that was installed as a ceiling for my carport was attached with trim nails. Needless to say, the ceiling did not stay in place. As for the inside of my cottage, architectural plans were not followed and rooms were not built to the specified size. I have wall switches that do not activate anything. The plumbing of the sink underneath the kitchen and bath have such long hoses so that the space is hardly usable for storage. The LVP flooring has cracked and needs to be repaired in two rooms. The overall lack of communication and sometimes showing up to work caused tremendous hardship on me. Because the project was not finished by the projected date, I had to live with my daughter for six months, and reschedule delivery of appliances. I found Alex to be overtly pleasant, but he did not listen to my concerns, built things the way he wanted to do them in spite of the architectural drawings, and provided many many excuses for why he did not show up on time. For example, he didn't work on one particular day and when I texted him to ask, why, he said they weren't coming because he didn't like the look of the sky. Although there were clouds, it never rained at the job site. Another issue of concern is that Alex did not get a to do the . As a contractor, I was under the impression he took care of all of the for the remodel and addition of the porch. My new crew had just begun working when a code enforcer drove up and said that all Work had to stop. The office had received an anonymous phone call saying that I was doing construction without proper permits. My new contractor took care of this problem that very day. I find it extremely odd that anyone could see what was going on at my house since I am surrounded by trees, and there's no way to see my house as cars drive-by. How would anybody know that a permit had not been granted when I didn't even know that?

I'd planned on installing kitchen backsplash in a large kitchen (counters, bar island, kitchen desk…read moreand butler's pantry) myself. Then I found that tile installed in new homes (no primer/paint between drywall and mortar) is impossible to remove without taking all the drywall with it. I made a small mess in the butler's pantry trying. I'd already bought the tile, grout, everything. I was capable, but not willing to replace all my drywall - far more work than I wanted to deal with. So I requested quotes from several companies, with details on sq. ft., etc. Travis was the first to respond, with the most professional response- a very nice, detailed professional estimate, based on what I'd told him. He visited the site, and confirmed it - no changes at all. Based on the fact that it was a labor only job, no profit in materials, the price was very low. In fact, it was 3 days work, and the price for 2 laborers per hour was below what you could hire just about any tradesman for. Workmanship was great, and I'm very picky. He had a couple of odd items to overcome from the way our walls and cabinets were constructed, but no change orders or increase in price. Showed up every day at PRECISELY 8:00, as scheduled. Covered, protected, and prepped everything perfectly. Very minimal dust & mess considering the work involved, and they cleaned up great. And note that he does the work himself, with an assistant. Travis enjoys his work, and it shows - he's a genuinely nice guy, super easy to work with. Overall, you just can't ask for anything more out of a contractor, and I can't recommend them highly enough. If I could give more stars, I would.
