This place is probably meant for smaller crowds if you ever want to throw parties or whatever. They have a basement which is where the party took place and its really small. You walk in and theres a long dining table and all way towards the back was the bar. To the right you'll see more open space where the djing set up was. They had all kinds of ol school decor from an old organ/piano to and an old tv. They even had a karaoke stereo which I'm assuming they have karaoke night's here. I didnt ask so wouldn't know. The food that they served was really good I might add. We had mash potatoes with pork, gravy, steamed veggies and different kinds of salads. ( the sink flooded during my event, causing a huge water problem by the time we noticed. had there been a drain, the water would have not came out of the restroom, and wet the carpet. i was deducted 100$ from my security deposit, for this!) 5. there are security cameras inside the hall, so you must know, the owner ruben will be watching the entire event. my guest were upset when i received a call from the owner, after he noticed something he didnt like. we were wondering if he would watch the entire event. which maybe he did. 6. when signing the contract to lease, he only said to pick up trash and fold tables and chairs. that night at 11pm, when he showed up for the keys, he said he will not return the entire amount of deposit back. he said he needed the floors swept, carpets vacumed, chairs cleaned, floors mopped including the restrooms. smh i wished i would have known all this before signing the lease. at the end, he was rude when i called him to know how much and when my deposit would be returned. besides being rude, he refused to show me a receipt for a plumber he said he hired to unclog the restrooms sink, he said i had to pay and it was my fault. please think twice before getting this place for your next event.

Made for good shade in the late summer, the grounds were kept up and made photos amazing as there were no bad angles for back drop behind guests. They have an annual crab feed which is delicious, well planned and held indoors and always have room for a silent auction and they keep it toasty with the big fireplace. Another private event that was held inside was a birthday party which offered a section to play (sun room area over looking the lower lawn) and the eating/ presents area. If you need a space whether it's indoor or outdoor be sure you connect with the lodge. They have ample parking and are very accommodating to events.

They do serve lunch to 2pm. We were here to have lunch and then take pictures at their lavender farm. Hopping to catch some blooming lavender. Sadly, it was mostly a green garden w not much blooming lavender. There were a few other flowers blooming tho. Upon arrival.... Pros 1) plenty of parking. 2) location was plain but pretty and clean. 3) they had like 4 to 8 tables on the front by the parking area where you walk in. I saw a few people eating there. 4) they had a beautiful wooden table in the back on the grassy area with 6 chairs around it. That's where we sat for lunch. Our reservation was at 12pm. We got seated right away. Today was perfect to eat outside. There is no indoor seating or a restaurant here. I didn't see any. 5) there is a gift shop. But we didn't make it to see the inside 6) they serve salads and sandwiches here for lunch. Very simple and short menu. Their soup of the day today was tomato bisque. 7) our sandwiches and salads tasted fine. But salads are large portions. I could have shared my chicken salad with another. Sandwiches are normal size. Enough for one person. 8) Drinks were ok. Water tasted good. No funky or metal taste to it. 9) two porter potty bathroom but clean. Not the typical blue porter potties at putdoor events. A little nicer and it flushes. 10) our server was very nice. Cons 1) it took a long time to get our meals once we ordered. We were seated at 12pm. But we didn't get our salads and sandwiches till like an hourish later. By the time our foods came out, we sat to catch up and eat, and celebrate a bday, it was like 1:45ish already. Gift shop closes at 2pm. 2) our young server seems like she's still in training. But she was good. Wish they check on their customers more often. But maybe she was the only one taking orders. I don't know. 3) Conclusion This location was nice. Clean. Pretty. There wasn't any lavender blooming when we were there. But I heard it's a hit and miss to catch it in bloom too get beautiful pictures. It's ok though. We found other areas to get nice photos in. Foods were ok. Meh. But salads looked pretty and in large portions. Chicken on the salads were perfectly made. It was juicy and not dry. Each of our plates were $18. There is a small drinks menu. With both their menus being short, it made it so much easier to order something. Love that no one rushed us out after 2pm. We were allow to take our time on the area to take photos. They were setting up for a 4pm wedding. Not to bad here.
