i wished i could give this place a 0 star rating. please consider all the things i will tell you…read morebefore renting this venue for your next event. 1. the venue is on a second floor, you will have to carry all of your things (food, speakers, tables, decoration, drinks) up a steep staircase. 2. there is an electric seat for people with disabilities. it will attract the smaller children no matter what. 3. no kitchen 4. the restrooms do not meet public standards as they dont have a drain on the floor in case flooding occurred with the toilet or sink. ( the sink flooded during my event, causing a huge water problem by the time we noticed. had there been a drain, the water would have not came out of the restroom, and wet the carpet. i was deducted 100$ from my security deposit, for this!) 5. there are security cameras inside the hall, so you must know, the owner ruben will be watching the entire event. my guest were upset when i received a call from the owner, after he noticed something he didnt like. we were wondering if he would watch the entire event. which maybe he did. 6. when signing the contract to lease, he only said to pick up trash and fold tables and chairs. that night at 11pm, when he showed up for the keys, he said he will not return the entire amount of deposit back. he said he needed the floors swept, carpets vacumed, chairs cleaned, floors mopped including the restrooms. smh i wished i would have known all this before signing the lease. at the end, he was rude when i called him to know how much and when my deposit would be returned. besides being rude, he refused to show me a receipt for a plumber he said he hired to unclog the restrooms sink, he said i had to pay and it was my fault. please think twice before getting this place for your next event.

Made for good shade in the late summer, the grounds were kept up and made photos amazing as there were no bad angles for back drop behind guests. They have an annual crab feed which is delicious, well planned and held indoors and always have room for a silent auction and they keep it toasty with the big fireplace. Another private event that was held inside was a birthday party which offered a section to play (sun room area over looking the lower lawn) and the eating/ presents area. If you need a space whether it's indoor or outdoor be sure you connect with the lodge. They have ample parking and are very accommodating to events.

There is wood bar set up to have a bartender, but there is no small fridge to keep drinks cool. Our party hostess brought several coolers to keep drinks/waters/beers cool.
