During the 1960' s and early 1970's I was a neighborhood kid. Live nearby on 8th Street and attended St. Thomas Aquinas elementary school on 4th Avenue. Went to church on 9th Street. I remember when this Post did a lot of good for the surrounding community. Always had fond memories of their special events when everyone in the neighborhood was welcome. The building was never fancy but well kept. In pictures it looks a lot older now (don't we all). The surrounding community has changed, but this Post gets 5 stars for the good I know they've done in the past. Many Thanks. read more

I came here last weekend for a social function. The hall was decent. I have always wanted to come here and see how it was. It looks small from the outside, but the place is spacious. They have clean bathrooms and the place was decent. I really did not come here for the decorum...I came to support my man and to help him network. I hope they do more events there. read more

The veterans that work there are great and go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The drinks are affordably priced and the atmosphere is pleasant and safe. There was plenty of room for the cake table, food table, gift table and guest tables as well, and over flow into bar area which the men didn't mind when it came time to open up the gifts
