Very dark and lots of photos of veterans on the walls. A bit depressing but it suited our needs, being more then sizable enough for our group of some 80-100 individuals. Its probably a welcome retreat for local veterans though, seeking a place to sit and escape the burdens of life from time to time. They also have a television mounted on the wall.

Didn't buy any food or drinks but saw some of their food and it looked gross. Door security checked my clutch and did a pat down. They weren't friendly or welcoming at all. Making up a song about Coralineeeee!!!!…read more This Coraline-themed exhibit has been on my bucket list for months and it was so lovely to finally get a chance to check it out this month! It's a bit smaller and only a few rooms, but you can really tell that a lot of love and care was put into building this experience based on the level of attention of detail that the curator put into each piece. I don't think reservations are needed, but you can check in at the front and pay the $15.00/per person admission fee to the host. She accepts card/tap for payment and there are photos and videos allowed for her exhibit. I don't think visits are timed either, which is nice because you don't have to feel rushed and can really appreciate each piece. Halloween has always been my favorite holiday and I'm glad that this exhibit has been around long before spooky season officially started, and that I was able to catch the tail end of it. It seems like because they were wrapping things up and setting up for their Hocus Pocus/Michael Myers exhibit, there may have been a whole other room of pieces we missed out on, so I'll have to sleuthe the Internet to see what that looked like, lol. 'twas a phenomenal time for witchy gals like myself and I'm glad I didn't miss out on this pop-up! Looking forward to their other cool themes in the future.

We arrived right when they opened at noon, and admission was $15. The exhibit runs through June 17th. We practically had the whole gallery to ourselves, which made the experience even more enjoyable. There were so many amazing pieces of Coraline inspired artwork, and the entire gallery was decorated super cool. One of the rooms was designed similar to a scene from the movie, which was such a cool touch! Outside, they also had props and characters like Wybie and Mr. Bobinsky that made it for more picture perfect. We had such a wonderful time visiting this exhibit and would definitely recommend it to any Coraline fan!

Saw King MaLA here and it's a good venue -- albeit, not in the best of areas…read more Parking: I reserved on Spothero at 1136 Ingraham St for $20 prior to the event. It's a 5 minute walk, but it was an intense one. On my way from the parking lot to the venue, I didn't realize the venue was on the left side of the street. I didn't jaywalk, and went to the stop light to walk across. The bus stop lets off on the right side of the street, and there were random people either hanging out(?) in chairs and such on the sidewalk. I was fine, but the walk was a bit stressful. There's a parking lot directly across from the venue and I think it's $30, if you are alone that would be a better choice. But it's manageable. ADA: I didn't see any chairs whatsoever, it's standing room only and did not see anyone using a wheelchair or mobility tool. It would be difficult to see if you're in a wheelchair from the back. The front may work. The restrooms are located on the left side of the venue so there's a lot of people walking to get there. I saw a lot of people standing by the wall on the left side, so in that area towards the front may work. Smoking: They have a small smoking area outside. There's only one way in/out so if people are closer towards the entrance you'll have to excuse yourself to get past them and go back inside. Sound: I wore earplugs, but the sound quality was great!!
