The only thing is it's easy for people to sneak into events through other doors and not have to pay door or ticket fee. The hallway that connects the kitchen and other two rooms (a smaller hall and the VFW Bar) is access to see others parties. The VFW Bar area does have great DJ's and music on Saturday's. The parking is a little small you might have to park out on the street. It would be nice if security would check bags and pat down people. Other than that it's a cool spot.

All the workers here, the cooks, bartenders, manager, and any other miscellaneous employees or volunteers are all such down to earth people. They have organizations for the children of vets. Organize fund raisers, holiday parties for the children, breakfasts once a month and many more outreach programs. Come and join us to increase our outreach to more vets and their families. Your life will be richer for it.

Fortunately for me (and you) he's a Veteran, so we were able to get in. We couldn't stay long because we were both out passed out normal bedtimes, but the crowd here was so friendly! The bartender and her husband (the KJ) were some of the nicest folks I'd ever encountered. They even told me I was welcome to come back anytime, with or without my friend! Everyone was cheering for everyone. This was the least toxic karaoke environment I've ever seen. Anyone out there who does karaoke knows what I mean. They offered us an extremely reasonably-priced meal, I believe it was meatloaf night? We declined. My friend ordered cheetos and red wine, while I had a soda water. I belted out on 4-Non Blondes "What's Up" and we went on our way. I hope I get the opportunity to go back, as it isn't very near my normal routine. But, I can definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a kind hearted crowed, a cool bartender, and a boss KJ.
