As fancy and nice as this place is I didn't feel weird walking in covered in work with contractor boots and clothes covered in paint and drywall. They have no problem helping even if answering honestly means they don't get a sale. I needed help with an adapter and instead of trying to sell me something new or some specialty piece he gave me a free option to fix my problem. The knowledge they have is too notch and the staff are friendly and welcoming the moment you walk in. They have everything from the basic bulb to a $20,000 chandelier!! They do all things LED and everything in between. You could easily spend hours in the store and still not see everything, which is why the coffee bar is a GREAT touch. Stewart charged us a $150.00 restocking fee, told us that it worked fine and then sold it to an employee. This is bad business, @150.00 is a lot of money to charge a customer, that returned the light in good faith, because it did not work( but I guess the customer is never right) We paid for the pole attached also, an was given bad advise, because the one we had worked just fine for any light. Shame on you Stewart lighting and Nita for your behavior certaining this return. There was a reason your store was empty of customers. So when I saw they were opening, I called my dad and said we needed to take a field trip. The first time we walked in, we were greeted by the wonderful and knowledgeable staff. I was looking for an exotic wood to make some shelves for my kitchen. Since they were going to be open shelves I wanted them to be something special. The staff or wonderful with recommendations, but really I just wanted to find something that spoke to me. Yes, I know they can sound odd but I'll avoid for some reason. The staff were so patient while I took two hours looking at wood. Once I picked out what I wanted, we were able to talk to one of the managers about having specialty cuts made. Since I do not have a workshop we ran into some hiccups along the way as we were working with a wood in a humid environment. However, everything was sorted, the staff took great care of me and my wood selection and I got my wood cut and it looks wonderful. I am starting my project soon and I cannot wait to finish. I know I will be back to Rockler time and time again. I am so excited. They are here and I can't wait for other people to explore with them. They do offer classes and woodworking, and also with epoxy. The classes can be scheduled I believe online or by calling them. They do have handouts as well. I am excited to take a class or two and learn some new stuff if you have some time and want to explore somewhere new or if you just love woodworking or looking at really neat wood or tools take a trip to Rockler, you will love it. They are exotic wood selection is amazing. I found some beautiful Tiger Wood. They also have many specialties that you will not find many other places such as Purple Heart or yellow Heartwood. You will be inspired just walking in.

I explained my needs and he guided me to another product that contained the Arena I was looking for, along with some other insecticides to help eliminate any additional lawn pests. It was even cheaper than the original product I was considering, so that was a total score. He also provided me with some guidance on how to prep for the upcoming dormancy of St. Augustine grass. You will find something you love, regardless of your taste. The staff was very courteous and informed about everything there. We actually called for information on a beautiful German Cider set and they provided everything we needed to know that we were getting an excellent deal.
