Small but good beer menu. Very large so if company looking to do holiday likely could handle it with ease. Menu is bar menu with plenty of burgers and other items you would expect. Owner Bill is very friendly.

It's a great place. There were a few hiccups (bartender didn't know the Happy Hour special, bartender didn't know how to make a certain drink, etc.), but the place is fairly new so it's understandable. The entire place is big and spacious so it can accommodate larger crowds. The basement has an arcade area with pool tables, arcade games and foosball. The food was really good as well. I tried the Peanut Butter and Jelly wings and I was pleasantly surprised on how good they were. The workers there are also very nice. I highly recommend this place. I definitely will return.

I love this place! Amazing space with an arcade downstairs and great food. My friends and I had the butcher trough which had the best ribs I've ever had.

Refuge from the cold. Decent beer selection. Pleased with the selection of spirits as well. Downstairs is an arcade! Didn't try the food but I will definitely visit again!

Really cool place. Food was awesome for a bar. We had the baja tacos which I love because I used to live in CA. The fish and chips were good too. Big beers. Beautiful and friendly staff. We wanted to go to an arcade they have downstairs but there was a private event there. Next time. The place is huge. There are games on the table but we didn't play. Nice. Will be back.

Amazing place with great vibes and good old American comfort food! I went with a couple of friends for a Weekday lunch. We ordered some beer to go with our artichoke dip, meatballs and shishito peppers. Followed by shrimp and grits and the special salmon burger. Brig, the general manager gave us the utmost attention and made sure we didn't leave without some delicious peach blueberry cobbler, cheesecake and peanut butter cake. We also met one of the owners/brothers, Willy, who sat down to chat with us! Wished all restaurants in the city were as attentive in service as this!

This is by far my favorite spot in Midtown-Manhattan to go with my friends and coworkers to have a nice cold beer. The food was delicious I had the mac & cheese burger and my friend had the BBQ Ribs, both were extremely tasty. I also like the big arcade games they have in the cellar and the classic rock muzaaaak they played.

I've been working with this venue since it was known as Habanero Blues and have hosted many events at this place. They have three floors, a main floor for food and drinks, a mezzanine for events and parties and a newly opened cellar with two pool tables and arcade games. It is difficult to find a place in midtown that has both character and space and the cellar of American Hall is a hidden gem.

The staff have always been friendly and extremely knowledgeable; it is really handy when you can say you live in San Francisco, what do you have that I can only get out here? You can tell it is a good place in Hell's Kitchen/Times Square when stage hands and actors actually come by after (definitely not between) their shows. They also have whiskeys available here as a sidecar; definitely do not try and order any other liquors, the back of their staff shirt makes that clear. For food, I've only ever had the cheese curds because I obviously have a problem and can't get them at many places in SF. The portions are large and the prices reasonable. My only feedback to them is maybe offer some large format bottle pours on busy nights so people can try some of the more obscure options.

Got a nice dose of dive bar and it was exactly what I was looking for. The place is small, it is loud, there is a good selection of beers on tap and some more on bottles/cans from the fridge. Bartenders are just the right amount of "if you're not a regular you're fine but you're not special" and chatty friendly. What you'd expect from a hole in the wall with decently cheap beer (compared to just a block or two over).

Check-in was quick and easy, and even though it was a full house for a Saturday night, we were still able to find seats without an issue. The space was definitely lively and a bit crowded, but there was still enough room to move around comfortably. Our bartender was really sweet and made great drinks , the cranberry vodka and Long Island were both spot on. We didn't pay extra for the additional glasses to smash, but the six cups included were enough to make the experience fun and satisfying for a casual night. I can see why people would want to buy a full bucket though as it definitely adds to the excitement. The crowd was respectful, and the bathrooms were decently clean, which is always a plus. Overall, a great spot for an stress-relieving, spontaneous night out!

I wish we had the option for a booth especially since my friend is really short but we got a high top. Server was very attentive and transparent. Our original server was on break so we had another server take our drinks, appetizers and entree orders. She brought the drink and appetizer and our main server brought out entrees. I felt they were both great servers and very friendly. We also got dessert, everything was delicious. Food was also reasonably priced. We also were able to use a coupon code for the appetizer which was great. This location is very nice and clean. My only suggestion is to have someone check the downstairs bathroom a bit more. I used both bathrooms and the upstairs one was way cleaner. Otherwise, great experience and staff. I def recommend and will be back

I totally understand that as a business it makes more sense to take the larger group. However no reason for you management staff to be completely rude about especially on such short notice. I called to find out a solution as the message said we could show up a half hour later than our original reservations and was transfered to a manager. Who ever the manager was on 5/17/26 at about 8 pm said ya they got the place from 2 pm good luck . I tried to ask if we could show up a halfhour later than planed as the voicemail indicated but he blew it off and was being very rude about the whole situation so if figured I do not want to give this company anymore money moving forward so I found another restrauant. Shame is now I wont visit the one in Texas where I live either.
