I am writing to express my immense gratitude to Jerry for his exceptional assistance throughout our mortgage pre-approval process and securing a VA loan for my husband and I. From start to finish, Jerry demonstrated unparalleled helpfulness, thoroughness, and an extensive knowledge of VA loans that made the our first home buying experience smooth and stress-free. As first time homebuyers, Jerry took the time to thoroughly explain each step, from the the pre-approval process to closing of escrow and he was always available to answer any questions or concerns we had even after business hours. We are incredibly grateful for his support and would not hesitate to seek his assistance again in the future. Thank you, Jerry, for going above and beyond to help us achieve our dream of homeownership. P.S We would highly recommend American First Home Loans and Jerry's services to anyone in need of mortgage assistance, especially VA loans as not many lenders are familiar or want to work with this type of loan. read more

Working with Jerry and his team was a breeze with ease. The American First Home Loans helped us sold our townhome then went through the journey of finding our new home. The entire process was easy and simple. Provide Jerry and his team members with all the required documents then they took care of the heavy lifting. In addition they know and honor the VA home loan which was a bonus because not all realtors knows the in and out of the new VA loan that all Veterans deserved to use. Jerry is well spoken and a positive representation of his clients. He didn't sugar coat anything and was honest. When asked for input on a property, he gave his honest opinion and thought on the home. When asked, he would us an idea of an okay, good and competitive offering price as well as any counter offer suggestions but end the end he left the ball in our court for us to decide. This is extremely helpful since he knows the current market and what homes are supposed to be selling at. Jerry and his team was also very responsive and answered all of our questions and concurs. They are also available nearly all time of the day and night as well as 7 days a week. This is nice when your searching for that right home. Lastly it's a one stop shop which is amazing. We didn't have to find a lender, escrow company etc. Jerry and his team did everything since they're a broker. They helped us get the lowest interest rates as well as a good rate on home insurance which was helpful since it was part of our monthly mortgage payment. With all said and done, we will definitely use American First Home Loans again and we recommend them to everyone especially Veterans. Thank you American First Home Loans and keep up the excellent customer service. read more

I stumbled upon American First Home Loans while searching for a broker on Yelp. Based on the positive reviews I contacted Jerry and made an appointment to discuss my options in purchasing an investment property. Upon meeting Jerry, he was very professional, thorough, and informative. Jerry ensured my wife and I the process would be seamless, and indeed it was. Jerry made himself available whenever needed (even after business hours). Jerry kept my wife and I informed throughout the entire process from submitting our offer (on multiple properties) until after the close of escrow. Jerry and my Real Estate Agent worked very well together! Even my agent commented on how he loved working with Jerry. Most importantly, Jerry was able to assist in closing escrow a week earlier than expected. Truly a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend American First Home Loans, as I will be using them again in the near future. read more

I am first time home buyer, initially I had gone the traditional route, getting preapproved at a traditional bank. The traditional bank did not allow as many options for what I could purchase. I was referred to Jerry through a friend that had just purchased his first home with him. After meeting with him, I decided to work with Jerry after he showed me that there were a lot more options the traditional bank did not provide. There are a lot more lending/financing options out there than I initially thought. After working with Jerry I was able to close on an income property. The entire process was smooth because Jerry stayed in constant communication with me and answered all my questions promptly. I closed on the first property I made an offer for. Selling agents liked working with Jerry because he brokers the financing and helps with the search, essentially creating a one-stop shop. If you are a first-time buyer, I recommend that you give Jerry a call. read more

As a Realtor, I've had the privilege of working with Jerry and Marco Antonio for the last 15 years. They are my "Go To Guys" to get my clients the best deals in home loans. Whether my clients are buying or refinancing, my first phone call is to them. They make themselves available to me and to my clients 7 days a week! They are very knowledgeable and often think outside the box in order to make things happen. This is why I called them when I bought my own home. Best wholesale lenders I've ever worked with. A perfect fit that radiates a warm sense of comfort describes both my wonderful new home and my experience working Jerry and American 1st Home Loan. I reached out to Jerry in April and after using applications he recommended for my phone to research homes, I was in Escrow by July. I was worried about qualifying when I saw the home of my dreams but Jerry helped every step of the way to qualify and relieved a lot of unneeded stress. At no point did I have trouble getting ahold of him to talk about offers and bids for the home because he was constantly on top of everything. He was looking out for mine and my family's future and gave me daily updates through my purchase. His experience assured me that I made the right decision and from the living room of my new home I can tell you that I did. read more

What can i say Jerry you are the man. Not only did he help us purchase our first home he did everything possible to get us a great rate and the exact home we wanted. The process on his end was painless and easy his explanations where on point and made perfect sense. Every time we got in a jam with the seller he was quick to clear it up and make sure everything stayed on track. The second we found the home Jerry was quick to act and began working his magic the seller took our offer based on Jerry and his professionalism even when things looked bleak Jerry was able to salvage everything even though it had nothing to do with the work he put in he made sure we did not lose this deal. I have worked with Marco and Jerry on both my purchase and loan side of things. I trust them with my eyes closed. Having been a first time home buyer, I was worried about the fine print in everything. The fine print is the first thing they go over with you. They are in this to help you make the best choice for your family. They don't worry you with the little things going on in your transaction, they just make sure to get it done and fast. I remember asking how my loan and home purchase were going, Marco said "I get paid to worry, you go back and spend time with the kids". Like everyone I shopped around and tried to see if they could be beat. I went to US bank, BOFA, Wellsfargo and no one could touch their rates at the time. Marco even encouraged I go and check them out. Now that is confidence and integrity in what you do. I am now enjoying my home in San Diego, 4 kids and wife have never been happier. Thank you guys.
